Located within the New Forest National Park, The Burley Inn offers tranquil, countryside inn accommodations. Free parking is possible on site, and free Wi-Fi is accessible in public areas. Really friendly and welcoming staff, room clean and tidy, food great.
Lovely building, drinks on the terrace and view of deer park was great. Restaurant good, evening meal was pleasant and breakfast was lovely. Room was appalling. Falsely advertised as bespoke decoration but was more like a 1980s 1 star hotel even though it cost us £269 excluding breakfast . Room needs a complete refurbishment and I would suggest no one stays in room 32 unless they are guaranteed that it has had a makeover. Shame that we won’t ever stay there again.
The best thing was the staff, they were very busy, but very good, you could sit outside but it was under trees, and we haven’t had much sun recently! The room we had was not worth the £120 we paid. We were very disappointed, we hadn’t had a break for over a year . They need a new menu, a good chef, better outside area , and the bathrooms to be much improved .
Due to the amount of time we stayed and the fact it was Christmas we just went for walks within a few miles of the Hotel. The New Forest is a beautiful place to visit for walking and exploring. We wish we had more time.
We use to go to Burley and surrounding area over 20 years ago this was our first visit since then. Coronavirus aside we found that tourism in Burley and the surrounding area had declined, shops had changed owners and were not very attractive or interesting. I very much doubt if we will return
Burley is a lovely village where New Forest Ponies and cows wander around freely. There are several excellent pubs, The Queens Head and the Burley Inn and a great village store for provisions. Burley is perfectly placed to access the delights of the New Forest, with walks starting from the village itself. Not far from Ringwood where there are shops and supermarkets.
The staff position and food. The breakfast was huge and superbly presented and cooked. Best fish and chips too. The room was rustic but spotlessly clean. The bathroom was within the room and up a few stairs. Very close to Burley and Lyndhurst which was a stunning drive through the forest
Peaceful, beautifully styled and has everything a couple needs for a complete getaway.
Really friendly and welcoming staff, room clean and tidy, food great.
Comfy bed, well stocked bathroom, excellent food, excellent service.
The pool was a great for the kids
