Used to live in Burton on Trent over 30 years ago and still have close family there, we sometimes need a place to stay when we have travelled down from Yorkshire. There are some lovely places to visit from there like Calke Abbey, Lichfield. Two Rooms I booked has access issues as the door cards did not work. With one room they could not get access at the end of the evening. A third room had shower issues and a guest fell in the shower as there was water in the shower tray. She fell and had to be taken to A&E as she had concussion. Room modern and comfortable with good lighting. Our deal included breakfast which had cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, juices, beverages, sausage, bacon, eggs, hash browns, tomatoes, toast, jams, cakes. All well cooked and served in a spacious area. Thankfully the tv was not loud whilst eating. We caught a bus from the town centre and only about a 15 minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel.
