Overlooking the championship golf course, this hotel has free WiFi and free parking. The charming villages of Tintagel, Port Isaac and Boscastle are 15 minutes’ drive away. Everything was amazing, the staff very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the place was very clean and organized. The location is perfect, we was able to visit various types of attraction. We can't wait to go back 😊
Located in Camelford, The Countryman Hotel provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a bar, a shared lounge and a garden. the owners were very accommodating and friendly with good advice on local amenities. the breakfast was wonderful with local produce used and all in all this was a welcoming place with lovely owners.
Nestled in the Cornish countryside, 3 and half miles from the town of Camelford, Pendragon Country House features 7 luxury rooms, a restaurant, free Wi-Fi, and free parking. The hotel is set in a lovely area just 15/20 min drive to multiple beaches and walks. It also has a great old fashioned interior that makes it feel like a medieval manor house (which we loved)! Great breakfast and bar facilities :)
Villa 7 Lanteglos, Camelford, Cornwall is located in Camelford and offers a fitness center, water sports facilities and a tennis court. Everything was excellent - from the friendly communications throughout, instructions for entry to the villa, location, decor, facilities, comfort, food hamper, lovely big bath with plenty of good quality towels, fully equipped kitchen area...... I could go on but I am sure by now you will have realised that nothing has been omitted in order to make this a fantastic base to explore this beautiful part of England.
Camelford is central to a few seaside resorts. It's a small place but has pubs, clubs, excellent fish and chip shop..with excellent reviews. Shops..cafe..Great walks..Petrol.Local car park..with 2hrs free parking..right opposite the fish & chip shop..👌
Camelford is an ideal base in north Cornwall there are lots of lovely places within an hours drive. There are a few shops, a garage and Penbode Vets have a fabulous practice there. The vet Nick Carter is lovely.
Didn’t visit Camelford. Spent our time surfing on Trebarwith Strand, Widemouth Bay, Polzeath, and visited Padstow. Delabole nearest village with a general store, and had a great pub pie in the Bettle and Chisel pub there. There is also a fish and chip shop, all within a few minutes drive of the cottage. We have holidayed in this area many times previously, so knew where we wanted to visit. Did not have time for Port Isaac, Boscastle or Tintagel this trip, all well worth a visit. Remember to have a Cornish cream tea. Cornish lanes are single track with passing places and hedges which conceal stone walls. Drive with care!
We didn't actually venture into the town itself however whilst we were there the football semifinals were on and a lot of guests recommended their local pub the Mason's arms and said it was a great place to visit. We used camel foot as our base and went to local beauty spots
Camelford is a small town/village not much for children to do Camelford does have a skate park beautiful view's people here are friendly definitely will be returning no bank in the town just cash point at the co-op and its free to use only one chippy order online only collections only Camelford also Chinese and kebab/pizza lovely pubs where you can take pets in and grab bite to eat
Unfortunately Culloden farmhouse Elm self-catering did not live up to our expectations - we found it unclean, beds with old uncomfortable mattresses, dirty shower drain hole, smelt of bleach. The towels were threadbare. We would not recommend this accommodation and will certainly not be returning.
Lovely town house , very clean and comfortable with all facilities needed as well as free parking at the property. The location was excellent within easy driving distance to Boscastle , Tintagel , Port Isaac and Padstow. Within easy walking distance to Camelford , the local pub and fish and chip shop.
We loved our stay at Culloden Farmhouse. The room was clean and comfortable, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and the location was perfect, easy to find on the main road through Camelford. We particularly enjoyed the garden, which had some loungers and a hammock, perfect for laying back in the sun.
The hotel is set in a lovely area just 15/20 min drive to multiple beaches and walks. It also has a great old fashioned interior that makes it feel like a medieval manor house (which we loved)! Great breakfast and bar facilities :)
The location is really nice. Close to shops, pub and free parking. They clean the room everyday, wash and change cups and cutleries, refill drinks and snacks daily. Overall, we had a lovely stay in Cornwall.
Our hosts were very friendly and made us feel comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and filling. The hotel was ideally situated for us visiting our relatives and the surrounding area.
Central for the sites we visited in Cornwall. Very clean cottage with excellent facilities. Would like to come again in summer months
Great location for exploring North Cornwall, quiet.
The lovely grounds the hotel is on
