The room was comfortable, warm and freshly renovated. Check-in and out was easy, and the hosts communicated brilliantly.
The location was great. Able to get down to the beach quickly; 10 - 15 minutes walk (we walk quickly...)--albeit there is a fairly steep hill to negotiate, but you have to come up the hill if you want to get anywhere at all from the beach, so it's unavoidable. I'm sure you can easily get a taxi back up if necessary.

It was the perfect location to visit St.Ives and other areas in Cornwall.
Carbis bay is stunning, but with an easy £1 train journey into St Ives..
Please note that if walking to the beach it may be difficult for people with limited mobility, due to the steep gradient.

We really only booked the apartment because we like walking from Carbis Bay to St.Ives or to Hayle Beach. The beach at Carbis Bay is a good one and perfect for parents with little kids.
Becks fish and chips are the best in the UK. Really recommend it to anyone in the area.

Carbis bay was my favourite beach of several we visited. Lovely sheltered beach, no dogs during the day which is good; free clean toilets; good local shops and lovely local walks. Excellent options at ocean sports centre on the beach. Good access to train station

Carbis Bay offers a serene coastal retreat with stunning views, pristine sands, and crystal-clear waters. Whether lounging by Bread & Breakfast or indulging in gourmet dining, every moment at Carbis Bay is a true delight. However, the hotel's location may require careful planning for those wishing to explore beyond the resort without a car. Overall, Carbis Bay offers a slice of paradise for those seeking a tranquil escape by the sea!

We chose the location for a short autumn break and it suited us because of the easy access to St Ives, Mount’s Bay etc. We also wanted to eat at the Ugly Butterfly as we are very keen on Adam Handling’s food.

Only went to the (lovely) beach once as the hill was so steep to get back up to accommodation near the the main road.
Good location for hopping the bus to St Ives and nice views.
The Cornish Arms pub is a nice spot for dinner/drinks.
Lack of recycling bins.
A fantastic stay in a lovely place.
Issy was very welcoming and gave us all the information we could possibly need to enjoy the local area, from great restaurants to the location of the train station to carbis bay.
The private patio was a great little space to enjoy a book and a glass of wine, which gave the garden room an added relaxing element . The mini fridge had a variety of local beverages and Izzy offered to accommodate milk requirements. Off street parking was also ideal.
Beautiful apartment, with excellent views over Carbis Bay. It exceeded our expectations. The apartment was close to the train station, which provided a cheap and quick connection to St. Ives.
The apartment was large enough to accommodate 4 persons. The apartment was equipped with everything needed for a perfect self-catering holiday.
The location of the apartment was very good as we have been to Carbis Bay a few times before so the area is well known to us. It is very close to the main carbis bay beach and good for walking or taking a bus into St Ives.
Small but very well decorated ,furnished and appointed ,biscuits ,crisps etc a nice touch, easy parking, short walk to Carbis Bay, ideal for short break
