Located in Carisbrooke in the Isle of Wight region, Little Clatterford features a garden. When entering the property, we felt like we were the first to stay there, it was so clean and smelt fresh. It is a superbly kitted out property and has everything you will need for a long stay, if you want to stay in and cook a meal the fab kitchen has everything to allow you to do so. The bathroom is great, modern and larger than expected, wonderful shower and spotlessly clean. The living area has a log burner if you choose to use it but also radiators in case it gets chilly also. The furniture and appliances are of a very good standard, not tired and dated like other properties, the attention to detail runs through the whole place, if felt like the hosts had thought of everything and more. The cottage is set in lovely gardens and has an outdoor space to sit and eat, drink or just relax, which we did when the weather was good. Little Clatterford is even better in the flesh than the photos, it really is! The location of the property was perfect for us, in the middle of the island making it easy to get to any part of the island in little time. It also was near many of the major attractions and with Newport being a few minutes away it was easy to get supplies and to nearby eateries etc. Not to forget that only 5 minutes walk away is Carisbrooke Castle and many beautiful walking routes. The hosts are a really friendly couple who make you feel most welcome and although we had no problems with our stay we knew they would provide assistance with anything we needed if we asked, they are also a fountain of knowledge about the island. Breakfast was excellent, room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great price and would stay again. Hosts were lovely and very accommodating. Literally nothing to complain about

Apartment was lovely with amazing views. Can appreciate how things get missed with regards to cleaning and how busy everyone is but felt as we had to check in late and check out early due to covid cleaning that these items should not have been missed. Also would like to report loose draw front in lounge and loose radiator in bedroom, not a problem for us just don't want to be blamed and loose deposit!!!
