Fantastic bed and breakfast in the epicentre of lovely Cartmel. Communication with Rachel prior to arrival was perfect. The hotel is beautiful, both the public areas and the room in which we stayed. The room, recently re-decorated, is as comfortable as it is beautiful. Modern bathroom, super comfrotable bed, tea kettle/espresso machine - who needs more? Breakfast was stellar, be it the full English or the continental. We'll be delighted to come back and we thank Rachel for making our weekend in Cartmel special!

A lovely welcome and shown to our room, which was clean and spacious. First time we had taken our poochon Harley to a hotel for the night and everything was perfect. ,even to the breakfast , where he was able to join us. Staff are all lovely and it is obvious that they take pride in their work & strive to make your stay a very comfortable one. The Uplands is in a perfect location to visit Cartmel. We would definitely recommend and hope to be able to visit again some day soon . 😊

The apartment was beautiful very clean cosy and had absolutely everything we needed . On our arrival we were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and snacks this was so lovely of val the host such a lovely gesture. Val also messaged the day after arrival to see if all was ok and we needed anything , the location was within walking distance of a shop , the pub pig & whistle and village of cartmel and a short drive to grange over sands. Would highly recommend this property ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Set in a lovely location and was a stand alone building, easy walk into the village centre and felt very private. It comes with a discount at Cartmel Square! Loved the underfloor heating and decor. The place was spotless and they left some gifts for us on arrival including some local sticky toffee pudding!

The village setting, and inn were lovely. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The food(tea) and drink served before the fireplace was excellent, including my introduction to sticky toffee pudding. Traditional English breakfast was a good start to our day.

Lovely location. Very quiet and peaceful. Cosy, comfortable property. Very well-organised and well equipped. Good walks from the property. Good cafes in walking distance at Cartmel. A pub with very good food a short drive or longish walk away in Grange.

Feels like home.luxury home.very nice cabin.2 floors.all new.hi quality furniture and kitchen appliances. Washing machine and dryer. Lovely. Highly recommended. Owner is very nice.one if the best!

Staff very welcoming and accommodating, breakfast basic but good, room lovely, location perfect - if you're going to Cartmel, you're not leaving it, so location is hard to get wrong!

Very spacious and excellent value for money. The location for Cartmel is incredible and has beautiful views from the living room of the church.

Just a stroll from the village centre. Well equipped cottage, very clean and nice powerful shower.

Cartmel camping pod was a lovely place, very good location.
