Very friendly and helpful hosts, the room was clean and and presented lovely, breakfast was excelent nothing was too much trouble and the tea and cake on arrival was a very lovely unexpected suprise, would highly recomend the property.

Warm welcome, very clean spacious room with en-suite shower and toilet. Comfortable bed and excellent buffet breakfast. We stayed for dinner, the meal was very well cooked and enjoyable with large portions that would satisfy even the hungriest among us.

This is a terrific apartment! The rooms, bathrooms, and shower were large and comfortable. The location was great, right across the street from a grocery store and within easy walking distance to restaurants. Easy parking. The "ocean view" was limited but that's okay. Great place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at this lovingly restored heritage property! Trish and Mark were fantastic hosts! They were friendly, gracious and eager to offer suggestions for exploring the area. Breakfast was delicious - both the full Scottish and the made to order omelets! Our room was well-equipped (it even included a small fridge and kettle). The huge claw-foot bathtub was fantastic!

    We had a very friendly welcome by Emma. The room was very comfortable and excellent facilities. The evening meals were very good, great portions and good value for money. Breakfast was excellent, a variety of choices. Ideal location for visiting Dunnet Head, John O’Groats and Wick.

    Location was easy to find off site parking near to hotel, nota lot in local area to see. Hotel was spotless staff super helpful and friendly room was perfect very thoughtful giving us ground floor to ease access with our dog.     The location was fantastic for everything me and my partner wanted to do whether it be the northern lights which i got to see which the host was more than happy to help you find even sent me a message to tell me iwill add picture from dunnet head once I know how. i got to try the local distillery at wolfburn it was great. The cottage was fully equipped even down to tinfoil and cling film and olive oil. Very clean and tidy spare linen all in all very good place to stay.

    The hotel was in a good location just 15 minutes drive to the Gills Bay, Orkney ferry. The hotel and room were very clean and tidy. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was very good. A good choice of cereal and full English. Good hotel would recommend.
