Cheltenham is a really lovely town set amongst rolling hills and fields in the heart of England. With a superb range of shops, pubs and restaurants, the town also offers a year-round series of festivals covering literature, jazz, science, music and horse racing. An interesting architectural style (not unlike Bath) but with a buzzy atmosphere. Great places to eat include Brasserie Blanc, The Ivy, some great trattorias and the ever-dependable Wagamama (see photograph of her ladyship posing with chopsticks). There is a preserved steam train service to Broadway not forgetting a huge Waitrose, modern M&S and a newish John Lewis. Give to a visit!

Accessible rooms in my experiance are for people with limited movement, the elderly and people with disabilities. NOT just being able to get to the room. I was compensated because of all the problems I had, and the staff were very helpful when we had to move rooms. I would not stay in the Hotel again, and certainly not recommend to my elderly friends.

I went to Cheltenham for the Ukuelel Fest of Grt Britain.
I went to Cheltenham for the Ukuelel Fest of Grt Britain. It was the 1st time I've been there. Lovey city/town. Nicest one I've visited for some years, including those abroad. Restored my faith in GB again. This Festival hopes to be back again in 2025. Will go back. It was a wonderful w/e and we were lucky with the weather, able to walk around a lot. Stayed in a restored Georgian Cresent house added to the flavour. Apart from not getting much sleep I'd recomend to others - especially those that want the experience the best of Britain. I eat at Weatherspoons cos its always good value (but cook was not the best!) also at Prizza which was very good & a pub burger & beer - dont remember which one ATM. Also nice traditional very friendly helpful landlord. Serving food out of hours. Ukuele Festival of Grt Britain at the town hall was fabulous. Spledid building and a wonderful experience. I will be back.

The Costwold Grange is a nice little spot in Cheltenham. Very well maintained and clean, the stuff was always smiling and available to help at all time. Our room was on the top floor with a back garden view and I have to say it was very quiet and cosy. As we have mentioned at the time of booking that the trip was for our anniversary, they also prepared the room with a small surprise! The hotel was very close to Pittville Park and about 15min walk to the town centre, that is if you are as slow as me though! I would definitely recommend it!
The staff were very pleasant and the location we chose within proximity to an event we were attending. Local Spa Taxis provided an excellent service to and from our event in nearby Prestbury. We walked into the town centre as our room was not ready and that took around 25 minutes each way. However there were plenty of shops and eateries etc in the centre of Cheltenham.
Location is fantastic, less than 10 minutes walk into the town centre, and with a parking space. House is really nice, modern, warm and comfortable. Even the sofa bed was comfortable and with a toilet downstairs as well, made it even better. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Cheltenham for a couple of days.
We were visiting Cheltenham for the Literary Festival and the location was perfect. The hotel looked like a boutique hotel and was very nice (although it felt a bit corporate)
