Featuring garden views, Chessington Retreat - Near World of Adventures offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around less than 1 km from Chessington World of Adventures. We stayed here for a weekend to visit Chessington theme park and Hobbledown Park. Chessington is about ten minutes walk and there is also a lovely pub (The Shy Horse) within walking distance for dinner. The beds were comfy and there was lots of space and a garden. The place was well equipped, with games, dvds etc. It was a comfortable stay and I’m glad we picked it. The owner was really helpful, getting in touch with us beforehand with instructions and tips, and texting one the day to check all was well. He even left us a loaf of bread 😃
Featuring garden views, Luxury 4 Bed 3 Bathroom Bungalow, South West of London, The Dapples features accommodation with a patio and a kettle, around 13 km from Walton-on-the-Hill. Martin was very help and easy to deal with , access and facilities in the bungalow are great. I would recommend this to workers or a family to stay away on holiday!
Offering free WiFi and free private parking, Sunnybank House in North Epsom is situated in Epsom, just 3-minute walk from Ewell West Station and 2.4 km from Nonsuch Park. It felt like home from home, everything you need and more than you’d expect. The owners are excellent, friendly and only a call away. Very clean and in a great spot, couldn’t ask for more.
Situated in Claygate, The Foley has been a village pub since the 1780s. Now a coaching inn, it offers boutique-style bedrooms, a stylish pub, and a dining room. WiFi and parking are free. Lovely large room with very comfortable beds! Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. We will return.
What I liked the most was how clean the hotel was and you could see staff cleaning all the time! Second the animal park was walking distance and bus service was very good if you Needed to go into town or Kingston. Staff were very helpful with most things. Restaurant mix up as Temple was closed for dinner and we wasn’t told so we had to walk round in circles trying to find someone to help us! Then to find out track and trace orders on your phone only and we were rushed to order food and not much choice very expensive so second night I went out to find a curry restaurant which was lovely. Catering staff rude and some don’t speak English very well and I had to repeat myself several times plus music too load and irritating. No room service or any where to buy bottle water plus rooms should have a instruction card to explain how the air conditioning works and how to call reception for help... But I would 100% stay again and would highly recommend it to my friends and family., only a few minor hiccups which can be improved ., reception very helpful too 😊
Evening entertainment kept kids entertained Hour early into chessington world of adventures was very good. Apart from that disappointing, reception check in hardly engaged with us, gave us no information Restaurant was chaotic, again no engagement with staff, food wasn’t great View from themed room overlooked huts, I’d paid extra for that, room was small too. Seems if you book with Booking.com you get the worst rooms
Chessington world of adventure,. Great place for all ages but especially children, any fans of the Julia Donaldson books need to go here, the gruffalo river ride and room on the broom very good, as well as the gruffalo entertainment and meet and greets. The new land of the tiger exhibit is amazing, speaking to there main tiger keeper, she told us all about how the design of the enclosure gives the tigers so much room, as well as loads of areas to take them self off to to relax away from the public, very impressive indeed. We ate at the bbq smokehouse, for a theme park food was very reasonably price and refill drinks included in the meal deal. Plenty of toilets around the park all very clean.
If you have a young noisy family, it will be fine, If you like seeing wild animals in captivity, you'll love it. If you watch the Krypton factor you might easily find your room in the adjoining building. If you enjoy noise transfer from constant banging feet from children running around passages or in food eating area's or screaming children being ignored by parents whilst updating their facebook pages, Perfect. Modern Butlins, NOT SUITABLE for Business travellers.
Pleasantly surprised, easy to park, quick check in. Room was executive, spacious, comfy large bed. Great to see the animals from public areas, giraffes ostriches gazelle. Breakfast was buffet-very nice, hot and plenty of choice +latte coffees from machine-excellent. We didn’t have dinner at the hotel, went to The Star pub approx 5 minute drive onto the main road turn left and it’s on the right hand side approx 2 miles drive.
Travelling from one part of city to another even short distances like 9/10 miles too long all over like 40 to 50 minutes roads are crazy too many traffic cameras puts you off driving in london nothing to do with our stay there which was great thats all folks the boyz fae Glasgow scotland cheers
