This family-run motel is in West Lancashire on the A49, just off the M6 motorway and just a 6-minute drive from Euxton. Hunters Lodge Motel offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. There was a fridge in the room with milk, butter, yoghurt, fruit juice and water. There were continental breakfast provisions on the corridor which we could eat in our room or at a table in reception. We were very happy to eat in our room. The room itself was a decent size with two chairs. The restaurant next door was superb - we had a really good lasagne and pasta

As well as my previous good recommendations, can add that the reception and cleaning staff always wore face masks and were very covid conscious. Plastic protection barriers at reception desk and bar. Everywhere very clean. Hand gel dispensers in foyer. Also, my husband uses a zimmer and wheelchair, but when I mentioned this, they said there is no lift to the second floor, but they kindly made sure our room was easy access on the ground floor. Had two single beds which is what we wanted. NB No grab rails in bathroom or shower, but my husband used his zimmer to move around safely. Ramada motel also kept good pre-visit contact by text and email with confirmations and advice about arrival access. Very impressed.
I would recommend the hotel rather than the outbuildings/annexes. We only wanted a hotel en route to Alton Towers from Scotland and for the price it was fine however a Travelodge/Days Inn would be just as good. Reception staff are very accommodating.
Chorley is my home town (although I am long gone to the south-west) so I may be biased. There is beautiful countryside surrounding the town. Astley Hall and Park are a gem worth visiting. There is the Myles Standish association with the town so a visit to the Parish Church is worthwhile. The town has seen better days but the welcome from Chorley folk is of legend. The pubs are always lively and many serve real ale. Visit on a Saturday, take in the park and parish church, watch Chorley FC (the Magpies) play a game at Victory Park (named after 'winning' WW1) and have a few slurps around town. Perfect days visit to Chorley.
A lovely place plenty to stay, a good base for travelling about too. Excellent food and service the staff are very attentive in such a busy pub. The food served is excellent and would recommend a try. Will be returning.
Very clean and comfortable, excellent value . On the downside there is no signage / directions when travelling South on M6 at the Charnock Richard services , to the access road to cross the motorway and find the hotel. Very difficult to locate when arriving late in the night.
This was not my first visit to Chorley. I love the place. This time I was here for a wedding, so it was just a short stay. However, there are loads of places to shop and eat, a wonderful market, banks, fuel, Hair-dressers, health shops, and entertainment in Chorley. Best of all is a beautiful Temple with lovely grounds to go round. Very peaceful special place. Also Botany Bay (across the motorway from the Temple J8 of M61.) Astley Hall. The people are friendly and helpful. Above the bus station is the sign "...the place where everyone matters."!! I love this signal. There is also a train station and hospital. Many Historic places to visit. Traffic times can be busy.
Jackie was there to meet me and was very warm and welcoming. Good size room with everything needed for a 3 night stay. Lavinia was there in the mornings for breakfast (which was tasty and plentiful) She was brilliant and made me a bacon sandwich when I had to leave before breakfast started. Chorley town centre was only a 3 minute walk away so that was nice. Will go on my list of places to stay when I am in the area again. Thanks for looking after me. Andy

I can’t recommend Park House enough. Stayed for the first time yesterday and it was excellent! Owners kept us informed through the booking process, also met them on the day and they’re so accommodating. The apartment itself is very modern, clean and has everything you need for a stay away from home. Will definitely be using Park House again, Chorley hotels will now be a thing of the past!!
The hotel is in a perfect location in the lovely market town of Chorley. It provides easy access to the motorway. There are plenty of parking spaces. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. A good selection of food for breakfast.
There was no breakfast! I had to go to a cafe in the next village. I asked how I could get into the hotel if I got back late. They said that the fire door is open to the outside. That is how I got in to the hotel at 9.30. This is a security risk, especially to women.

Very friendly couple running the motel, nothing to much trouble, good selection of breakfasts teas coffees and juices with Italian restaurant and bar on site. Close to Chorley town with all amenities will definitely stay again when in the area
The rooms are fantastic. Just outside the hotel is a fabulous pub, serves great food and drinks. Massive space all round the compound.
The hotel was beautiful, the interiors stunning, our room (superior twin) excellent and the staff could not have done more for us.
The staff were excellent in all areas. Pool admission handled really well in the current circumstances.
It was a good, comfortable hotel.
