The pretty village and local bird life and beaches were...
The pretty village and local bird life and beaches were stunning. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust had a great facility nearby which is worth a visit. Very friendly locals. There were few choices for eating out if you wanted to walk but fortunately there is an amazing pub called The George and Dragon where we ate (for all 3 nights) and food and local beer on offer was excellent. Vegetarian options were great too. Looks like they have some great rooms as well! Local sunset on beach was wonderful (about 20 minute walk or you can drive).

Beautiful walk across the marshes to Blakney. Artisan food shops, smoke house, sour dough baker, picnic shop, art gallery, ceramic gallery, excellent second hand bookshop. What more could you ask for. Such a pretty village. Great pub - George and Dragon. Superb food, and charming staff.

Beautiful village, full of little alleyways, characterful...
Beautiful village, full of little alleyways, characterful buildings and hollyhocks when we visited. There is a wonderful bakery and deli (try the sticky pear and ginger cake). Lovely walks towards the sea over the marshes. We walked the dogs around the village morning and evening and there's a public footpath that takes you through the allotments, which are lovely to see and there's a 'for sale' bench in the allotments. I bought samphire from a bench outside a house - beautiful.

The village is very quiet and The George Pub/Hotel is closed at the moment There is a pub, the Three Swallows which is a short walk away. It serves a nice pint and is very welcoming. Take a torch with you as there is no street lighting.

A wild very unspoilt natural well managed coastal location really enthralling and refreshing far from the hustle and bustle of modern city life . A haven for birders and travellers wanting some quiet and really wonderful relaxation .

Wonderful North Norfolk coast, big sky's and obviously...
Wonderful North Norfolk coast, big sky's and obviously great for birdwatching. 2 galleries and a bookshop, smokehouse and deli all in the village. If the weather is bad RSPB Cley marshes has a good café and great outlook, and it holds many educational events. Lovely area.
