A 5-minute walk from the promenade on Colwyn Bay, the West Point Hotel Bed and Breakfast has a beautiful location on the coast of North Wales. Hosts were wonderful. Made us feel at home from the moment we walked through the front door nothing was too much trouble.
With a picturesque location in Colwyn Bay, this B&B offers free Wi-Fi and free parking nearby. Mike and Leslie - the owners - were absolutely wonderful. They provided a full English breakfast (multiple courses) in the morning. They were extremely knowledageble of the area and had great recommendations of places to visit and places to eat. They clearly had invested in the property - updated bedrooms, EXTREMELY comfortable beds, and newly renovated bathroom. There was free street parking. The B&B is right next to the Irish Sea. I would recommend this place to people wanting to visit Conwy, but not wanting to pay the prices.

Cae Eithin is located in Colwyn Bay. The property is 8 km from Llandudno and free private parking is featured. This has been one of the best weekends we have enjoyed as a family thanks to the beautiful cottage provided to us as our holiday home. İ call it home because Pete and Dianne have done everything possible to make us feel at home. We were welcomed with a massive basket of goodies as we entered the cottage, it was amazingly cleaning and every precaution was taken in line with the Covid-19 guidance The garden adds extra beauty to the beauty of the cottage. We really enjoyed the apple tree with the most delicious red apples. This could be the first choice for those wishing to enjoy a nice and cosy family break.
Flat 2 Opposite travel lodge colwyn bay is located in Colwyn Bay. The accommodation is 10 km from Conwy. The flat was extremely clean, the beds were really comfy and the hosts provided us with essentials such as bread, butter and bottles of water which was really nice of them. The location of the apartment is close to the beach and also not far from places like Llandudno and Snowdon which we visited while we stayed for a weekend. Couldn't complain about anything with the apartment!
The King's Suite at The Copthorne, Colwyn Bay, LL29 7YP is located in Colwyn Bay, which is 4 miles from Conwy and Llandudno. It features a free parking. The suite was beautiful and finished to a high spec. Jane and Steve are really nice owners for who nothing is too much trouble. All you need is provided and the welcoming items are a lovely touch. We will definitely be back soon.
A lot of available facilities generally, inc fast food, cafes and restaurants; Coming to the end of lockdown a lot were closed. Clean and well maintained area generally, lots of shops to look around. We did s/c which was',t an issue. Loads of parking, but can be expensive. A really good area to stop to tour Snowdonia.
Can't comment on Colwyn Bay because I was based in Rhos-on-Sea for a short trip which is at the far end of Colwyn Bay and as a Senior just wanted a short break. Can recommend the Rhos Fynach Tavern for fine fettle.
Great place for a long weekend. Beautiful scenery and places to visit. In particular Colwyn Bay coast line, Llandudno, Rhos-on-Sea and Conwy all within easy reach. The RSPB centre was lovely and free of charge.
Quiet place. Nice promenade to walk. Not the place to go if you want it busy. Few but enough different eating and drinking places. Just what we were looking for. We ate at Rhos FynCh. Excellent food. Highly recommended.
The Guesthouse/Hotel was actually in Rhos on Sea just next to Colwyn Bay it was a lovely place and the beach was lovely. There were nice shops and it was very clean, less busy than Colwyn Bay and Llandudno. It was very peaceful and relaxing but near to lovely places we went to Angel Bay on the Little Orme and saw the seals and also to Aber Falls which were both fairly easily accessible even for my 86 years old Mum. We enjoyed sitting on the patio outside with its lovely floral displays or walking along the front. Very nice place to stay. We ate at the Queens Head hotel a few miles away, the chippy in Rhos on Sea and Home Cookin in Llandudno all were really lovely and good value for money.
Great place to relax enjoy and people friendly. Central to all our needs and great transport links. We ate out at local pubs/bars/cafes in Llandudno and took in a theatre show (Mousetrap). Travelled the Conway valley by train on a day rover ticket great value, as ticket can be used on buses also.
Hosts were wonderful. Made us feel at home from the moment we walked through the front door nothing was too much trouble.
The place is very clean and the rooms very spacious
