Located in Craigellachie, 0.7 mi from Speyside Cooperage Visitor Center, Craigellachie Lodge provides accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a garden and a tennis court. Fantastic service and very hospitable even through Covid restrictions. The room was immaculately presented, homely and clean. Breakfast was delicious and the owner went out of her way to make sure that they offered vegan options for my party Would definitely visit again
Close to lots of things to do indoors and out. Enjoyed the trip even though most of the distilleries were closed. Had a great visit to the cooperage and lots of walks which were accessible and manageable by us.
pleasant small village with all the usual welcome's we expect from the highlands of Scotland great food was served and enjoyed by all and we appreciated the scenery around the hotel had walk down by river and it was great ,even weather did not detract from the experience which was amazing .
Very relaxed and relaxing. Friendly laid back staff, no fuss about checkin or checkout times, or about dogs being a bit boisterous. The restaurant is informal, in a bar setting, and the food was good standard. Lovely walks nearby, just right for a short winter break with roaring log fire and a cosy whisky bar.
A relaxing stay but we did have to eat in more than anticipated as it was difficult to get booked in to any of the local restaurants/pubs. We managed to get booked in to the Copper Dog on our last night and really enjoyed it.
Nice little village with an excellent pub / restaurant in The Copper Dog (inside the Craigellachie Hotel). Craigellachie 13 year old whisky from the Dewar's distillery in the village is worth a try.
The Copper Dog restaurant is a lovely setting and the food selection is very good. Bedrooms are very comfortable and clean. I visited the hotel with 5 friends for golf and we all enjoyed our stay.
