We had a beautiful stay at this lodge. Everything was clean to a very high standard and it felt like a home away from home. The log burner was an added bonus and we really enjoyed using it 😊 we would definitely stay here again and highly recommended to anyone considering!

really quirky, fantastic location and surroundings. perfect for nature lovers or people just wanting to relax.
Robin was a welcoming and extremely helpful and attentive host. Alex who is also there showed us the grounds and animals and was really interesting.
Breakfast was amazing with top quality produce - the eggs and tomatoes were particularly standout but the whole breakfast was beautifully presented and tasty. It would be good to stay again and try Robin’s evening dinner.

This is a lovely place to stay. I would stay there again without hesitation. It's in a quiet location in a very rural setting. The room is nicely decorated and fully equipped. Excellent shower. Access to the sunroom was appreciated for sitting quietly. No problem with off street parking. The hosts were charming and very accommodating. They were a pleasure to chat with and were very attentive. I enjoyed my stay there.

After a very disturbed night at the Cranley, we walked along into the village looking for breakfast. We happened across The Richard Onslow and had a fabulous breakfast. Mentioning what a ghastly night we had (& didn’t elaborate at all), when I came to pay, they said it was ‘on the house’ as we’d had such a horrible experience in their lovely village ! We were absolutely touched and amazed at such a wonderful gesture. We will be staying there next time, no doubt about it. ❤️

Location, the staff were all amazing went above and beyond. Morgan is absolutely amazing and offered to drop my friends and I to our event and pick us back up again so that we were safe to drink alcohol. The rooms were standard, breakfast was delicious, and the chef went above and beyond to our comforts. I will definitely be returning yearly as the polo event is yearly. If ever in Cranleigh, stay here and the pub locals were a right laugh.
The location is fine for visiting Cranleigh and surrounding areas - the main part of the village is a couple of minutes away, as is the Downs Link for walking. The room and linen were clean and there was a tea tray with biscuits. Staff were polite and reasonably friendly though not particularly engaged. The cooked breakfast was very good - the best part of the stay.
Nothing went well. I booked through booking.com. There was no message from the owner so I called them the day beforehand to check and they let me know that they discontinued this rental months ago. I was then stuck and could not find anywhere to stay in Cranleigh. Thanks for nothing booking.com.
A lovely hotel in a great location for the pretty (large) village. Everything and all the staff were just great. Our room was large, clean and tidy. Breakfast was superb and we had a meal there in the evening and that was really good too.
