In 26 acres of landscaped gardens, this hotel is 15 minutes’ walk from central Eastwood, the birthplace of DH Lawrence. It has a fitness center, outdoor tennis court, indoor swimming pool and sauna. Excellent accommodation and breakfast facilities. Please can we ask for a call back during June on 07904 146392 as we are looking to place a booking for my wife's father who is disabled and also for me and my wife. Thank you David & Janice Clow
Located in Eastwood, 10 miles from Nottingham Castle, Sun Inn has accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, a bar and a garden. The pub was welcoming. With nice food. There was karoke on when I was there which I don't mind but some people might not like it.As you could hear it in my room But there is quiet rooms if requested
In a quiet corner of the Nottinghamshire village of Awsworth, the Hogs Head Hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free on-site parking and comfortable en suite accommodations. Dinner and breakfast were very good and very inexpensive. The setting is very nice, great outdoor area with koi pond and picnic tables. Great value!
Self Contained Ground Floor Bedroom with Ensuite Wet room Continental breakfast included Parking for 1 car outside, a property with a garden and a terrace, is located in Heanor, 11 miles from... Only cereal provided, but that was o/k. Comfortable bed, fabulous wet room. All in all a very good place to stay at for a short period.
Within 10 miles of Nottingham Castle and 10 miles of National Ice Centre, Springfield Gardens - Ilkeston - Nottingham - Derbyshire has free WiFi and a garden. Spacious, clean, all facilities, very comfortable. Pictures do not do justice to accomodation.
Located in Nottingham, Chatterley House provides accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a fitness room. Excellent location, train station 5 minute walk away so very easy to get into Nottingham, Leeds etc. 12 minutes on the train into Nottingham, approx 24 mile drive to Sherwood Forest (which is beautiful). Breakfast was more than good enough, cereals, pain au chocolat, bread for toast, coffee, tea, water, juice. Bed very comfortable, en-suite shower etc. Free parking on-site. Even has a gym if you're into that sort of thing! Would definitely recommend!
The hotel room and en-suite were in bad need of refurbishment. The decor and furniture is tired, the bath creaks badly when you step into it. We requested a quiet room and were given one which was nice. We also requested more milk and tea which we were given but when we asked for pillow cases to go onto the two spare pillows, none were available. Eventually a very helpful staff member managed to find two late that night. We were going to a concert so did not eat there, cannot therefore comment on the restaurant. Realistically we would probably not stay there again
This is a relaxed envoironment. The staff are all very helpful and nothing is too much bother. Breakfast is a casual affair but the variety is superb. Several choices of coffee and tea. Buffet style with all manner of cereals, bacon, eggs, sausages to name but a few of the choices. You won't go hungry! Although at the time of our visit the place was going through a refurb you would hardly notice; they have obviously kept disturbance to a minimum. We shall return!
Eastwood hall has changed from the last few times i had been there the lovely bar area had disappeared was very noisy we had to mingle with a lot of drunk wedding guests with filthy mouths we ended up going out of the hotel to somewhere a bit more relaxed also as paying guests we were only allowed to use swimming and spa under ther time scale 3 till 5pm on the Saturday and 9 till 11am on the sunday as paying guests the facilities should be open for the guests whenever they would like to use it i didnt get chance to use any of the facilities this time we are now going to look at alternative hotels to stay when visiting family in newthorpe
I will not be staying there again. I have a dog so they put me in a dog friendly room with threadbare carpet and charged £25 extra for the dog. If it was a better room maybe it would be a bit more acceptable but I have stayed in places so much better than this and the dog was free. Also I only had three tea bags 2 organic and one decaffeinated. I thought for the price I paid it was very low class
The bedroom was great comfortable bed, lovely views, modern bathroom with bath and shower, we loved the spa so relaxing, great food we had dinner and breakfast, friendly staff, I would recommend this hotel.
Nice little town: nicer than expected, anyway. People are friendly. There is a particularly strong, sickly herbal odour throughout the whole town. I know this is true of most of the country now but it seemed particularly strong in Eastwood.
Breakfast very good with good choice except eggs scrambled eggs only and overcooked!! Room very clean and bed comfortable Overall the hotel was very clean and staff very good
The room was stocked well, ironing board AND iron. Don't usually find that in hotels. The staff were great.
