Great old pub with excellant facilities. Friendly staff who wiling obliged all requests. Great selection of items on the menu and excellant selection of beers and ales on tap. (Loved the spitfire) Lovely old pub with great decor and a happy atmosphere with lots of locals enjoying a night out. Large selection of hot meals for breakfast. Lovely hot showers with strong water supply. We were allocated the disabled room as we had an 82 year old with us which meant easy access for the shower. Lovely shortbread biscuits provided ss well ss tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Room was large enough to comfortablly accomodate 3 adults. We picked the hotel as it was only a 15 minute drive to ashford internation train station for easy access to eurostar and our train arrived at 6.30pm and did not fancy a long drive back to Salisbury in the dark in the middle of winter. Would definately stay again.
