The house and grounds were stunning. The places we wanted to visit were within the right distance, and the deer were such a lovely addition as we knew they were going to be there yet didn't realise how much we would see them. Shops close by, and even on a relaxing day there is soo much to explore.

Absolutely amazing!! The level of detail and love that went into everything. A paradise for interior design lovers! Very nice location with the private airstrip. Because it was end March we received an upgrade to a cottage - very much appreciated and this has made the experience absolutely unforgettable! Breakfast was also great and the bed super comfortable. The whole place is spotless too! We will definitely come back for more than one night next time. P.S. also loved the cows!!

The breakfast and the dinner on our arrival were amazing!! Tasteful and nicely presented! Beyond our expectations! The staff very friendly and helpful. Who particularly stood out was the lady at the bar and serving our dinner and breakfast and also the cleaning lady - she has the most beautiful attitude and smile and was very warm in our interaction- her passion for her work was impeccable- the cleanliness of the room outstanding. Room 10 very spacious and comfortable. Easy parking, open bar, restaurant…easy relax after out long trip. Very pleasant bedsheets. We had a very lovely stay from all points!!!

It is a beautiful area with lots to do, see and great places...

It is a beautiful area with lots to do, see and great places to visit. We found exceptional cafes too. You are close to Fyrish monument, Loch Ness, Inverness, beaches and forests. Stunning places to walk and lots of local history.

Evanton is a extremally peaceful location.

Evanton is a extremally peaceful location. If you are looking for relaxation in the countryside this is for you. We have spend fantastic 4 days with our two children (8 and 15), visited multiple tourist attractions in the area. Loch Ness 30min away by car Black Rock Gorge 60min walk Fyrish Monument 1.5 hrs combined Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

My family live here so we come up 2/3 times year, it’s a great place for a relaxing peaceful holidays with beautiful scenery and long forests walks great for families and dog owners so much to do within evanton or surrounding areas

Kiltearn Guest House is a hotel located near the town of Evanton. A wonderful landscape that inspires peace and tranquility. We were able to walk around part of the lake from the hotel. The hosts were very attentive and prepared an excellent dinner for us, cheese board and local sausages. I wish I had booked more days. If I ever return to Scotland, which I hope will be soon, we will stay at the same hotel again. I can only say that it was exceptional.

I visited to see family although travelled in and around Evanston food was great for evening meal reseraunt in the hotel was excellent as was the atmosphere very welcoming. Lots of walks and locals willing to show you more.

Everyone we met was really friendly and there are some nice walks in Evanton Community Woods and down to the Firth. The Novar Arms was a great little pub with very friendly staff. It has an interesting history and a great little Co-op. It’s within earshot of the A9 and the railway so can hear traffic noise but, on the plus, it’s easy to go exploring in many directions.
