The cottage was lovely, very quirky and great decor. Beds were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It was very well equiped, perfect for a few days stay. Great location within easy walking distance from town and ideal for us as we were going to the Thursford Christmas Spectacular: only a 15 minute journey by car.

We travel here annually to see the Thursford Christmas Spectacular. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and the rooms are comfortable and cosy. The food was also very good.

Fakenham is a good location for the coast but the town...
Fakenham is a good location for the coast but the town itself is small with only a few places to eat and drink and a small cinema, but pretty quite. Nice chalk stream with footpath right next to cottage. Nice pub a short walk out of town too, in next hamlet, near a common

Lovely walks along the river Wensum and around the town.

Lena was a great host and greeted us on arrival at her beautiful property. We were left milk, coffee/tea and cake and other essentials in the cupboards, which were most welcome. When we had an issue with something in the kitchen which was broken, it was dealt with and replaced straight away. There was a lovely private garden, although we didn't have the weather to enjoy it unfortunately, but the fresh flowers on the kitchen table were a nice touch and brought the garden inside. Fakenham is well situated for visiting the area.
A very well run hotel with lovely staff who appear engaged with their work and their guests.
Sue’s staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully designed and comfortable.
Very enjoyable wish I had booked a longer stay, would definitely stay there again.
We wish we could have had a longer stay.

Visiting family in area so very convenient.Hotel breakfast very good.Room comfortable.
Could do with hooks in the bathroom to hang dressing gown, towels etc. Also something to hold onto for getting in and of the bath
