We had an accessible room which had plenty of room for a wheelchair user. There was a small fridge, which kept our bottles of water cool, very welcome, because we were there in a heatwave. Fareham town centre was a bit dead (though we visited on Good Friday, that might be abnormal). Good supermarket options close by. Fareham is not a great place.
Fareham is not a great place. It's one of those town's with a tiny bit of history, but a lot of charity shops and a deprived town centre. Fareham shopping centre has almost everything you need. Good selection of shops and banks. My son lives in Fareham so am familiar. Good selection of restaurants and takeaways. It wasn't our first choice of hotel, the place we wanted was fully booked and other hotels were just too expensive. The staff were all really helpful and friendly, the night we arrived the receptionist waited up for our arrival which was about 11.30pm, she was sooo lovely We couldn't comment as to what is available in Fareham, we only went as we were helping our son and family to move house, so for us it was merely a place to rest for a few hours before we started again. Only other comment I can make is thank goodness for take aways, especially if they stay open till late!! Job done!Guest review byStephenUnited Kingdom
