Stayed at Dudsbury Golf and Spa Hotel....really modern throughout and great spa and pool facilities. Food and Bar very good and great location for work functions. Very close proximity to Bournemouth Airport. Loads of eating establishments nearby for lunch and/or dinner. (The Pear at Parley and The Horns to name a couple) Bournemouth and Sandbanks are only 15/20 mins drive away but can take longer at peak times.
We thought it was very central for getting to quite a few places. Weymouth was an hour away and Portsmouth was an hour the other way, while Poole and Bournmouth were around 30minutes. It was fabulous for food and drink too, wether you want a supermarket or pub, they were all just a short drive away.
My trip was ruined by the owners of the property. They become nasty after I left and start thinking of reasons not to refund my deposit. Tried to make me leave them good review And they will send me the deposit. Being rude to me on the phone- the woman hang up while I was still talking. At the end they had to send me half of my deposit but still haven’t got it Trouble and headache after my stay
Building was clean with on faults. The staff were lovely and welcoming. We arrived early and had two rooms booked. One room was ready and was allowed to check in early. The other room was being cleaned. We left bags behind reception and were waiting in the room when we got back in the evening
We only had a couple of nights so we only ventured out, off site, for one day. We visited the Moors Valley Country Park which was a great day out. We took the bikes, went on a trail, visited Go Ape and stayed for lunch. There was so much to do and we really could have done with more time to explore the Park and surrounding area. I suspect we shall have to go back again! We spent the rest of the time on site. With 2 pools and direct access to the forest we wanted to take the time to enjoy what we had on our doorstep.
Stayed here on our way to visit Monkey World after visiting friends in Portsmouth. Staff were friendly, room clean and comfortable and an excellent breakfast (very reasonably priced ) to set us up for the day. Would love to stay again and explore the surrounding area more.
Lovely location clods to my sons house for Christmas.
