We enjoyed the pub and the grounds. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The building was charming and the room was clean. There was always plenty of parking. The Inn is in a great location for exploring the area.

Our cosy double room was very comfortable with attractive traditional-meets-modern decor. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very well organised making us feel looked after on a busy Christmas Eve. The exceptional part of our stay was the dinner (not included in the room price of course) which was superb and something we would return for.

For a continental spread, laid out in the room the night before, the breakfast was exceptional. Light, flaky croissants, ice cold real milk and orange juice in the fridge and top notch yoghurts. The room was clean, comfortable and cosy without being cramped. The only downside is the proximity to the road, but even that didn't warrant the supplied ear plugs (in our case). We had a very enjoyable meal and several delicious pints as well. Highly recommended!
