Me and my husband stayed for 3 nights in July. The building entrance looks a little shattered but the apartment itself is a very different story. It is beautifully decorated and it has everything we needed to make our stay comfortable - from great sofa and TV to all the minor kitchen equipments - like ladles and chopping board. And everything is of great quality! It's not one of the cheaply decorated places with poor quality furniture that are just made up for renting. This place does feel like home! Such a gem in a sea o mediocre booking rental in a similar or higher price range! The breakfast is served in a nearby lovely café, just 4min walk from the flat. And it was just amazing! We loved every bit of our stay!

    Accommodation was spotless, heating on for when I arrived really good facilities and peaceful location, tremendous views off the decking , was perfect for my stay for work, have booked again for a wkend to bring my family up

    The Caravan was lovely. Beds were the comfiest I had in a really long time (even better than in some of the hotels I've been to). All cooking equipment is right there. They have tea, coffee, oil, salt etc which is definitely handy. Wifi was surprisingly decent given its very remote location. The host has contacted us beforehand to provide all instructions incl. PDFs. Located few mins walk from a really nice pub with great food and cheap drinks.

    The location. It was amazingly clean, bright, and warming. The campsite was super quiet. The decking as spotless. Definitely a place I would go to again !! I felt super safe being in the caravan whilst a storm was taking place outside.

    Caravan was spotless and comfortable. Quiet location with lovely views. It's a great base for northern lakes all accessible by car within 30 minutes. Had a fantastic few days here. Our dogs enjoyed it too !

    The location was great for us, as I have family nearby. We were able to visit family and tour around Cumbria easily. The site was small but well laid out and extremely well maintained. The caravan was very clean and very comfortable even with my wife and three kids. It was a great place to come home to after a long day of visiting tourist sites or walking in the lakes. The kids really enjoyed movie nights in the caravan.
