In Glasgow’s city centre, Euro Hostel Glasgow offers free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk. The modern hostel is just a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Central Railway Station. Everything went very well! From the reception with helpful staff answering and helping to any enquiries, especially my request for lower dorm bed was especially reserved in the room for me, and the receptionist paid attention on the check-in to receive it,as I am physically disabled. The paid attention to detail,as such as my enquiry,it was very important for me (rarely I see understanding about my enquiry in many hostels, which makes me feel often discriminated, as mostly the reason in many hostels it is a bad management, but not in Euro Hostels!). I saw an immediate help from staff when needed, I received a quite space, warm room, and chilling and relaxing time which I needed urgently. Literally, well done Euro Hostels, I am thankful for the great experience with staying with you, and look forward to return soon in one of your locations in Scotland, as it was much great experience.

In the city centre beside George Square and 200 metres from Queen Street Station, The Z Hotel Glasgow features compact and luxury accommodation in a contemporary design. The room had great space, really well located so good for subway, train station and the shopping center as well as other tourist activities. Very comfortable bed, shower, clean and they leave some water and tea/coffee for you (with kettle) which is nice. The fact that the room didn't have a window... didn't mean that the room was just as nice a stay as one with a window. Recommend staying here!

Travellers who stayed in Glasgow near Glasgow Airport (GLA) have said good things about Holiday Inn Express - Glasgow Airport, an IHG Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow Airport and Ashtree House Hotel, Glasgow Airport & Paisley.
This is a very small but perfectly formed hotel. Without being intrusive it has a familiarity that is comforting. The rooms are small but efficient and comfortable. The view ( on one side) over the station is unusual. It is noiseless , like a littke oasis. Unbeatable location if arriving by train. Super friendly staff. Love it !
I'm from Glasgow so I'm biased but there's plenty to see and do, lots of places to eat and drink, hotels for all pockets, and friendly people. Equally as good as Edinburgh. I didn't visit any of the places in Q. 6 this time but I know and like them all.
Glasgow is an old industrial city. As so, the buildings are very characteristic of the Industrial Revolution. From my point of view, it is far from being a beautiful city itself. But there is a lot of beautiful and historical places to visit. The Glaswegians are what makes the city very pleasant and warm. They were absolutely friendly and helpful. It is very easy and simple to get public transport. I payed everything with my bank account app by taping my phone. No coins or special cards required. I am a nature lover and enjoyed the parks very much.
Enjoyed the mix of old and new architecture in the city! Friendly and helpful people - LOTS of choices for pubs/restaurants Public transit is super easy to figure out - taxis are abundant Central train station is great for trips to other cities - such as Edinburgh - are easy to plan. AS a single traveler - good public transit was a must!! No need to rent a car....
Its a beautiful city, the people are friendly and relaxed. Highly recommend the Howlin Wolf for music and food, the Meat Bar for Dinner and Bucks Bar. Great Gluten Friendly dining options around the city. The mural trail is a unique way to see the city, lovely experience. Do not recommend the Sharmanka Kinetic Theatre unless you are a fan of the niche, it was overprices for what you got, but if you have the cash to burn and you have vested interest in the particular art, check it out. There are plenty of escape rooms, mini golf, bowling, tours, museums etc. there is loads to do and see. Public transport is easily accessible and regular, Edinburgh is less than an hour on the train also. Next time I would book some more restaurants in advance, as the city has a busy nightlife on weekends.
Lovely welcoming city. Really enjoyed and appreciated the Charles Rennie Mackintosh house, museum and Willow Tea Rooms. HoHo city tour bus took in the main sites. Easy access by public transport from the airport to the city centre
Centrally located hotel in the main shopping district of Glasgow (Merchant City). It was a few storefronts away from the train and subway terminal, and there was a bus stop in front of the hotel which made visiting other parts of the city quite convenient. Comfortable room, good shower. Breakfast was available for purchase (we did not take this option), and it looked like lunch/dinner could be provided during the week on request. The hotel had cupcakes and ice cream (both homemade) available for guests free of charge, which was nice!
My 8 year old daughter and I travelled from the Netherlands to Glasgow for a theatre show. On arrival we were allocated a street facing room and as is to be expected for a city centre hotel on the weekend, the street was noisy. We spoke with Donal the night manager and he swiftly and kindly changed us rooms, he sent a member of staff- Richard to help us with our luggage and he could not have been more reassuring. The room we moved to was spacious and quiet and my 8 year old is now very excited to make a return trip!
Lovely, booked couple of nights stay over as holiday was in north Scotland, didn't expect the standard we got. Friendly, helpful staff to the clean room ensuite, great facilities in and out of the hotel, well impressed and the breakfast, wonderful, no rushing lot's of fresh alternatives. We opted for a quiet room, best nights sleep and the price was a bit more than average but worth it, the swimming pool sauna and wet room finished off our short stay over Definitely coming again
The hotel is a nice building, located in a green, residential ,quiet area in Glasgow. As I arrived before check in time , they allowed me to leave my baggage so that I could easily go to the city centre to have lunch. The room I had was well furnished, clean and the window overlooked a hill covered with trees ; it was a lovely view. The bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was excellent and the staff at the dining room were kind. To sum up, the rate I paid was really fair.
24 hours before our arrival I recieved a call telling me the hotel could not accommodate us and was re locating us to a hotel in Glasgow City centre. We did not want to be in the centre for various reasons. Was told it was maintenance problems but frankly Don t believe this . Had a call 2 days before asking if we was still coming and that everything was o.k. . I believe they over booked. Not happy !
The room was clean comfortable and quiet which was a surprise as it is in a busy part of Glasgow. We could make a cup of tea or coffee. The shower worked well and the water was hot. The grout needs cleaning inside and around the base, but it wasn't too bad. For a city centre hotel the price was very competitive. The staff were really pleasant, halpful and professional in all areas.
The Hotel is in a great location over looking the Clyde and easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in the city centre of Glasgow. I stayed in the Sweet Suite on the 8th Floor and the room is so spacious. It has 2 bathrooms, amazing views, a pool table, a coffee machine, plates and cutlery, glasses and cups is provided and has a couch and dining table.
great location for Glasgow city centre. small but extremely comfy, clean rooms & very quiet considering location. lovely friendly & helpful staff. would definitely stay again. although no hotel parking there is a NCP car park right next to the hotel & through the hotel you get a discounted rate of £9 per day.
The location was perfect for city centre. I'm from Glasgow but live in England so travel up often. This hotel was spotlessly clean, decorated lovely and the staff were amazing. The room was small but for the price, it was incredible. Loved the sky TV too for my down time.
Booked an overnight stay so we could attend a gig in Glasgow. The hotel was in a perfect location for all city centre services and was only a 10 walk to Audio for our gig. Would definitely book again.
It was a basic room, the hotel and room were a little run down but was a good place to base myself whilst visiting Glasgow for a few days. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is excellent for its services and location in the city centre of Glasgow. But it is quite affordable for its value. I recommend it to anyone visiting Glasgow.
Amazing location for central Glasgow. The hotel is new, modern and functional with everything you need in a comfortable room.
hotel located ten minutes walk from the city centre ; room # 601 large enough and clean ; kind and helpful staff
Perfect hotel in Glasgow city centre.
