citizenM Glasgow 4 stars

Hotel in Glasgow City Centre, Glasgow

This citizenM Glasgow is located 400 metres from Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall. It offers stylish, modern rooms with free Wi-Fi, a cocktail bar, a designer lobby and a 24-hour canteen. Stayed here for one week during covid restrictions due to a family member passing away. Cannot rate the staff in the hotel highly enough. They were very friendly and went over and above to make sure our stay was comfortable. Due to the restrictions we couldn’t eat in the restaurant and it was room service only. They delivered to the room very quickly and the standard of the food was excellent. Will definitely be booking again next time I come back to Glasgow

Euro Hostel Glasgow 4 stars

Hotel in Glasgow City Centre, Glasgow

In Glasgow’s city centre, Euro Hostel Glasgow offers free Wi-Fi and a 24-hour front desk. The modern hostel is just a 5-minute walk from Glasgow Central Railway Station. Breakfast was typically British without tons of choices but perfectly fine for the price and, most importantly, hot at all times. The room was very new, clean, had everything you need (two bunk beds, private bathroom with shower). Very nice staff, always available when needed. Great location.

Crowne Plaza Glasgow 4 stars

Hotel in North West, Glasgow

Only a few minutes’ walk from the SEC campus, the 4-star Crowne Plaza Glasgow overlooks the River Clyde. It has a leisure club with a pool and spa, as well as a maritime-inspired restaurant and bar. Nice facilities modern up to date. I was anxious about its 4 star status but it was very close to 5* level and certainly beats many other 5*. Friendly staff and good effort considering social distancing measures required. Room service timely and friendly. Great location. Restaurant and room service menu had vegetarian and halal options and was of a very high standard. Great location. Will be staying here again.

FAQs about hotels in Glasgow

Fun-Loving and Forward Thinking

Scotland’s largest city, Glasgow combines Victorian architecture and a vibrant arts scene. A former European City of Culture, it is home to many national organisations including the Scottish Ballet and the National Theatre of Scotland. The museums are also world class. Not to be missed are the futuristic-looking Glasgow Science Centre and the eclectic exhibits at the Kelvingrove.

Lined with Georgian buildings, George Square is the city’s focal point and the spot for Glasgow Hogmanay celebrations. Fanning out from here are streets housing venues for the city’s main love: music. From classical concerts to up-and-coming bands, every taste is catered for.

As host of the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Glasgow is also a city of sport. Scotland’s 2 most iconic football clubs - Celtic and Rangers - are based here, as is the national football stadium Hampden Park. The Scottish Football Museum is also an excellent walk through the beautiful game.

Last but not least is the shopping in Glasgow. Shopping centres cover everything from high street brands to international designers. So when you fly into Glasgow Airport, make sure you’ve left enough space in your bags!
