We were only using the hotel as a stopover on the way to Llangollen the next day. The hotel had everything we needed and the scenery is fantastic. The only issue is that the mobile phone network is rubbish but the staff let us use their landline which was great.
Staff, Food, Cleanliness of hotel, rooms, and public areas, the Hotel is at a crossroads with shops nearby plenty of Parking Large Beer garden at the rear and seating out front fenced off from main road it also has a charging spot for cars in front of the cottages. We stayed in room 3 again facing the road but the noise was very minimal
This is a lovely Village to visit very quiet and peaceful, good for walkers and their dogs the locals are very friendly and it's quite central for visiting other places there is a lovely hotel with very reasonable prices staff, rooms and food are all excellent Glyn Valley Hotel right on the crossroads you can see all the main roads in
Very remote area which is in a way off the beaten track and has plenty of interesting walks to offer. The valley is very picturesque and in combination with its tranquility is very inspiring. If you need a break of a buzzing city or town, this the place to come!
The hotel is well-placed for visiting the Dee valley and Llangollen as well exploring Chirk and the Ceiriog valley which were totally new to us. The hotel offered food in the evenings but at the time of our visit Covid restrictions meant that a limited evening meal choice was available. The continental breakfast was good. Our room was safe, comfortable and equipped with all we needed.
An small village with one or two shops and a small museum (Closed when we were there, but looked interesting) A bonus was the river running alongside where we stayed and the lovely scenery all around.
