Spring Garden Guest House is located in Gosport, 14 mi from Southampton and 1.6 mi from Portsmouth. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Everything about this property is lovely. The people that run it, the ambiance, the breakfast, the hospitality and the very easy going nature of the proprietors. Unpretentious and charming in a Faulty Towers kind of way. It's not posh by any means but great value for the $$$. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Located in Gosport, 1.3 miles from Browndown Point Beach and 10 miles from Port Solent, Milvil has accommodations with free WiFi and a garden with a terrace and garden views. The property is an immaculately restored 1930s art decor period home. However, all modern conveniences have been careful included such as lots and lots of power points in the right locations, a bathroom that is a good size and lots of shelf space, a large shower with perfect hot water and excellent water pressure controls. Breakfast was magnificent with lots of varied options cooked to perfection. WiFi was very strong and reliable. The house is triple glazed and is in a very quiet location but easy walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. The hosts are wonderful and extremely helpful. They have over 18 years experience running this B&B. This place has set a new benchmark for B&B accommodation. Our room was cleaned and made up every day. Such a luxury. It really felt like we were pampered back in the 1930s.

A nice little town with history a lovely promenade to walk along good views of Solent and Isle Of Wight, views of shipping entering Southampton and Portsmouth . Good places to eat and drink . Ideal base for trips to other areas, ferry across to Portsmouth very frequent service would recommend a visit.
Great walk along sea front, lovely view over to the Isle of Wight. Watching the Sailing boats was very relaxing. Gosport town doesn’t have much to offer, but a ferry across to Gunwharf Keys, is a great idea.
Gosport was a good place to be based as travel further afield was easy accessible. Just across the road from our accommodation was the ferry to Portsmouth and the isle of white ferry. So getting about on the ferry was easy and cheap travel. The part of Gosport we stayed in felt safe but at night it got a bit rowdy when the pubs closed so I don’t think I would go out alone at night.
Not really enough to make it a resort. Thought it was the seaside town for portsmouth but was more residential. So we were quite dissappointed to be honest. Oneway systom was annoying.. DIdnt find too many suitable places to eat. . Hotel menu was quite expensive. Could do with amusement arcade. If there was one we didnt find it. There was a nice water splash area & lovely cafe near the beach. Not really place to stay with an 11year old child. Went to hayling island on way home. Much better
I used to live here, so spent alot of time reminiscing with old school friends, which along with my reason for visiting, which was a meeting, made for a very enjoyable weekend, it has changed alot over the years, as do most places, some of which seems not for the better. But there's plenty to see and do, for the visitor.
Great place, wish I could have stayed longer. Lots of things to see and do and of course, you can hop over to Portsmouth and get the ferry to The Isle of Wight. Gosport has a good shopping area, with lots of places to eat and drink.

A very comfortable and well equipped house which makes a first rate base for a stay in Gosport. Despite being on the road it is very quiet and relaxing. Fine for doing some work calls from the house if necessary.
