Guildford is a lovely town with decent size and has everything there, but shops tend to close early. After 5pm downtown is quiet for most of the days. I enjoy staying there for 4-5 days, if longer than this it will be too boring. Not much can you do in Guildford. Quiet town - shops close at 5pm daily except maybe on Thursday for late night shopping. The Friary Shopping Mall was convenient. The bus services - bus station was also near the Friary and the buses were regular. Close to supermarket and restaurants and Guildford city centre as well.
