Gwytherin is an atmospheric tiny Welsh village with an amazing past. Anyone interested in History would enjoy this place, which is very much off 'the beaten track'. Even though the village is fairly remote it is within easy striking distance of Llandudno, Bodnant Gardens, Bodysgallen Hall and Snowdonia and the whole of the North Wales coastal resorts. Set in beautiful rural scenery, sheltered with
rolling hills it is very peaceful, away from the bustle and traffic of busy resorts.
An excellent base.
Great place to "unwind "
Off the beaten track but close enough to be able to get to the heart of Snowdonia very easily. We would have never "stumbled " across it but once we arrived we were impressed with the quality of the accommodation and the peacefulness of its surroundings . Fiona gave us some excellent tips for local walking including places that were off the main tourist routes. They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and it was that "personal touch " that made all the difference!.
I have always held to the theory that I wouldn't visit the same place twice but this would be the exception !
