Great breakfast, freshly cooked and a selection of cereals, pastries, fruit etc. Halesworth town centre is a couple of minutes walk away, where you can find some great places to eat and drink. We stayed for two nights and used as a base to explore the area for which it was perfect. Highly recommended.

Brilliant base, easy to travel to see all the lovely beaches in the local area. Excellent walks, the people are so very friendly. Lots of lovely Pubs to enjoy an evening meal. We enjoyed eating at the Queens Head Local pub.
Halesworth was a lovely place, but we did not spend more than a morning there. We enjoyed all the places we visited, especially Snape and Warberswick We have friends nearby so we were able to spend a day with them. They took us to a lovely pub in Laxfield where the food and beer was excellent. It was called The Kings Head and I would highly recommend lunch or dinner there.
I used to live in Halesworth until 6 years ago when I married and moved to a town in Essex. I miss it and return as often as I can. The countryside is always spectacular and I always come home feeling relaxed.
The main car park is right in the centre of the town with good disabled parking, although that has to be paid for, there is free parking after six. We had to eat early as we were going to the Arts Centre at the Cut, so we had a lovely meal at the Mediterranean Restaurant which was to the right as you came from the cut though from the parking. There were also a couple of nice pubs selling food, but they didn't serve until 6. A really nice high street with unusual shops and some nice cafes.
The town itself has so many independent shops, there is a great park for children, the millenium park and so many walking trails. In fact just wear comfortable walking shoes and go! And Southwold is only a 15 minute drive away as is Dunwich and Minnsmere. We have lived here for 12 years and are still discovering. All the cafes are good particularly Edwards, the food there is just great. There is nothing to avoid in Halesworth. Best way of getting around, walk to discover this hidden treasure.
