Hotel Mariners is situated in the center of Haverfordwest, offering its own free car park that can accommodate coaches, plus free WiFi. Each room has a flat-screen TV with Sky Sports. Very comfortable rooms and well thought out, so often there are no sockets next to mirrors or even mirrors in my experience the layout was great and the room was very spacious and tastefully decorated. The food in the bar was excellent both in terms of choice and presentation and was the standard of a very good restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble and as a lone traveller I was made to feel very comfortable.
The County Hotel features free WiFi and views of city in Haverfordwest. The property is located 1.8 km from Haverfordwest Castle. Guests can dine in the in-house restaurant or relax in the bar. Room was better than described, all facilities and with a couch as well, couldn’t have been better. As for location and free parking, I would recommend anyone to stay here, I will be going back to this location again and will be booking the County Hotel again !!

Haverfordwest is a very nice town with some shops and eateries. It is very close to the Pembrokeshire coastal path and the beautiful beaches. Really great leisure centre with a lovely swimming pool and other sporting facilities.
Enjoyed Neyland, a few miles from Haverfordwest and had a wonderful day at Solva harbour, St David’s and it’s beautiful cathedral aswell as the Solva woollen mill. Also, central to Pembroke castle, an amazing experience with wonderful food at the castle cafe.
Haverfordwest is a lovely market town but sadly it’s getting more and more run down each time we visit. However it does make a great base for the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast with some lovely beaches near-by
Its a good base to explore nearby beaches, marina's. My favourite places were St.Davids, Tenby, Amroth. I found some nice dog walking areas in Milford Haven (try the walk behind Tesco store, we saw robins that were so tame so take some tip bits with you)
We didn't explore Haverfordwest itself, although my husband and son went go karting on Saturday which they really enjoyed, it's an excellent base to be able to explore Tenby, saundersfoot, amroth etc and the other side of course is newgale, solva and st davids.
Market Town in central Pembrokeshire with a good mix of the old and the new. It is about 30 minutes drive from St Davids and the beautiful west coast. There is a one way traffic system in the town that made it difficult to find the guest house. There seems to be a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. I had some nice fish and chips from a place in the main square.

Warm and welcoming hostess who ensured our stay was comfortable and that we were well provided for. The room came with toiletries and a variety of coffee, tea and hot chocolate and some biscuits. A very lovely touch. Spacious room with clean ensuite bathroom. Very quiet area with zero traffic noise and only 10 minutes away from Haverfordwest. Good choice of warm or cold breakfast, very tasty.

We were warmly welcomed with a cup of of tea and cake. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, we slept well. The Rectory is in a good position we easily went to Tenby, St Govans Chapel as well as St Davids. There are many nearby towns with restaurants and hotels for lunches or evening meals, We throughly enjoyed our stay here.
