Location was perfect for Heathrow airport and there was a cheap shuttle bus to the airport but we had our own taxi as there was 5 of us and the hotel arranged that for us. There were some really good pubs and eating places really close by which was good as we did not have a car with us.
Dirty and grubby surfaces and around skirting. Dirty bed with hairs. Dirty bottom of shower. No top to toilet. Breakfast was available was pitiful being toast with either strawberry apricot or raspberry packet jam or 1 type of cereal or 2 croissants. To share between all staying. There were 4 of us to start let alone others staying. Tea and coffee was packaged and disgusting no option for full fat or semi skimmed milk. Wont stay again or recommend in my opinion it was expensive for what we got.
The suites hotel was rubbish i couldnt get into your room i had paid for and had to move to another hotel at 8-30 in the evening because the people running the hotel didnt have keys for our room and didnt feel intrested in making or helping find any where else to for us to stay i would like a refund off booking dot com Regards wayne glover
Hayes is a convenient place to stay if you stop for couple of days around Heathrow Airport, but don't want to stay in a loud airport neighbourhood. Otherwise there is nothing interesting in Hayes.
I didn't stay long enough to explore Hayes so can't really comment on the facilities in and around the area to be honest. The location of the hotel was very good for me as I was visiting in Hillingdon only 3.8 miles away.
Location was great. Bus over the road to Uxbridge. Then train to London. Staff very friendly and welcoming. We are at the local hotel they had excellent meals. We are in our 70's. Did not eat at Best Western because it was Indian food and the breakfasts were $8.95. Too expensive. We only wanted a small breakfast but you had to pay the full amount.
Access from the airport was very easy via the Mercure hotel shuttle (5 pounds each way). Walk-ability - we went shopping at ASDA (supermarket), and went into London via the Hayes & Harlington Rail Station. Amhet and the Staff are GREAT! Comfy bed. Felt pretty safe. This hotel perfectly fit our needs for this trip. It's not the Ritz-Carlton, but, for the budget, it was great. We did not use the carpark, but it looks like the have a lot of spots
