The size of the room, the bed so comfy, to have a kitchen and the fruit they leave for me and all the food necessary for my breakfast inside the fridge.

I was basically just passing through on the way further south so unable to give just comment on Haywards Heath in any detail. Generally it seemed friendly and village like. It was a good place to recuperate from a long train journey before onward to my intended destination.

I love Haywards heath,I have live and work I for almost 17 years. The place I stayed was near the town centre and hospital PRH. Shopping and going to work are walking distance 10-20 minutes. I wish I could return to Haywards heath soon. What a lovely place I left behind. Full of lovely memories of a place I have . Food stores and restaurants Thai, Italian, English and French, Spanish.

Haywards Heath is a small modern town with easy commuting to London and Brighton. There are a good range of shops, including a decent Marks and Spencers an excellent Waitrose, Sainsburies, Tesco etc. Also a good range of pubs, restaurants and cafes.
It’s small enough to walk around the town, but there are buses and the railway station is well connected.
Parking is moderately expensive. There is a small but modern Hospital with an emergency room.
The surrounding countryside is beautiful, with the South Downs visible from the town.

I have been using this hotel for the last 3 years, its a 15-20 min walk from where my Son & Daughter-in-law live. Its dog friendly, as we have 2 dogs and it's only a 20-30 min walk into Haywards Heath Town centre, where there are great shops, cafes and a great micro brewery, which is very friendly. We have had breakfast there, which is brilliant with loads of choices, if we let them we are having breakfast they set us a table in their sitting room next to the restaurant as we can sit with the dogs. Staff are lovely, very friendly. We are looking forward to our next in 2024.

We popped into town but think we weren't at the main part with the shops.
We had a great meal and service at the nearby Harvester,
Area nearby is very pretty but you would need to investigate places to visit if you were touring, not much to do
We stayed specifically for a cheese and wine tour of the Bluebell Vineyard 15 mins away, but public transport was not available to the venue so ended up driving anyway

Had business in Haywards Heath so booked just one night.
Had business in Haywards Heath so booked just one night. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and spacious the room was. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was very good with loads of choice. We did get a message from Booking.com informing us that only continental breakfast was being served but ignore this we had a full English, but be warned if you upgrade to the large breakfast, they do mean large it is a proper plate full and very tasty
Awful, laughing the state off it, cupboard downstairs fell on my neice, down stairs, iron burn on the floor, toilet holder fell on the floor, soon as some one used it, bath dirty, walls had something on it, something splashed, dread to what it was. scrap on the wall, I it's more like hostal rather a hotel.
The hotel is nice, friendly staff, clean rooms, decent breakfast, my daughter insisted I added that the coffee was great :). 25 min drive from University of Sussex which we came to see was very reasonable.
