I was there to visit family so I didn’t spend a lot of time exploring Hereford as I have visited before. However I like Hereford as it has a lot to investigate especially the Mappa Mundi and the Cathedral. There is a variety of restaurants to suit all tastes. We had a curry on the first night a family meal in the Cosy Club and on our last night we had fish and chips from a Chippie just round the corner from where we were staying. Lovely old buildings and fantastic cathedral. Had a great meal in a Thai restaurant. For a bank holiday , Hereford was surprisingly quiet. Hereford is a lovely place for a short stay. It is easy to walk around. There are some nice shops and great places to eat both at lunchtime and in the evening.
