Hotel in Tewin
Tewin Bury Farm Hotel offers accommodation in Tewin. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV. You will find a kettle in the room. I particularly remember the staff member at the front desk, being welcoming and friendly and he made me feel like a valued customer, by asking questions such as have you stayed with us before and then explaining the facilities and the grounds. I stayed in the Willow and my expectations were exceeded, It had a warm feel to it, outstandingly clean, spacious, user friendly. Oh the Bed was exceptional and was the icing on the cake, spacious, medium to firm, and felt like it was tailor made just for me. The bathroom was also of an outstanding standard, deep long bath, comfort lighting, plush bath towels. Breakfast was also of a high standard .

Hertford has the feel of a market town...a feeling of being safe in your surroundings and lots of choices of places to eat and drink..variety in your choices..i stayed at the Salisbury Hotel, not for the first time, they are lucky to have a General Manager who believes in her team, and that why i chose to take nineteen people for a evening meal, with 5 of us stopping over in their excellent rooms..
Parking is terrible, I paid on payonphone app for the multi story car park and it was a nightmare. Still have to display ticket even when free! We travelled into London with friends who live in Hertford to see a show. Nice easy commute.
Central location, Faultless Rooms, clean bathrooms, great Meals & Beers, convenient Table Service, friendly Staff, Perfect Breakfast options, all within an old world atmosphere. I really like the fact it central, Salisbury Arms was very deep building with plenty of room, good private carpark, It was simply charming, with church bells to boot :)
Was great for walking around easily with some pedestrianised. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants to choose from, felt safe and good atmosphere walking around in the evening. Easy to get to by car and good rail links to both train stations with Hertford East being the closest to centre only 5 - 10 mins walk. Only downside was hardly any shops for groceries, 10 mins walk to tesco store
Very lively place especially the night life though that is partly a bad thing ages waiting to get served cant move in the smoking area. I ate at lussmans and cafe rouge during my visit both amazing restaurants
We enjoyed the history of the town. We did a Treasure Trail which was informative and fun at the same time. We ate in the The Salisbury Arms Hotel which was excellent. However the meal in The Old Barge was not as good as we had hoped. We enjoyed walking every where especially by the river and in the castle.
