Exceptional breakfast, we both had eggs Benedict (one with smoked salmon and gluten free bread). Outside patio for drinks was very nice, and welcomed at the end of a long day. The room was large and comfortable with a nice size bathroom and shower! Good for a longer stay.

Lovely, comfortable, stylish property with lots of thoughtful touches and great welcome packs. Our dog has never had such an amazing welcome box! Location was great, next door to the pub for a nice meal, and a very friendly village shop where we got fresh croissants on Sunday morning. Handy for visiting the lovely coast or going exploring inland. Excellent communications from the owner. I’d recommend without hesitation. Many thanks.

The Old Mill is a beautiful home that has been decorated with exceptional taste! The bedrooms are spacious and beautiful. The hosts are friendly and very helpful, answering questions about the area. We walked St Cuthbert’s Way and Peter answered many of our questions about the path and local birds, etc. Breakfast was a delight in the sunroom with views of their flower garden. Beautiful calming classical guitar played as we ate a delicious breakfast!

    The Huts were fantastic, the location was sublime, the views from the huts was stunning a great way to start & end your day. The amenities were excellent, everything you needed to enjoy your stay was there. cleanliness first class, they were definitely quirky! and the friendly& welcoming owners.

    Spotlessly clean, self contained and in beautiful countryside surroundings - away from it all. It was cosy and well thought out and it was nice to bring my dog so he could join in the fun. The property was fenced off with a secure gate. Lovely views

    The location was stunning yet not that far from 2 towns and the coast. It was perfect for the relaxing short break that we needed. We had 3 dogs with us and could walk from the property to some beautiful places.

    Tracy & Ian were lovely. The location was beautuful and so peaceful. It's ideally situated, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast but only a few miles from Alnwick, Craster, Seahouses, Bamburgh and Holy Island. We had a great stay.

    Lovely surroundings, everything we needed for us and the dog to have a relaxed stay. Ideal location for exploring the Northumberland coast. Would highly recommend the Shepherd's Hut to family and friends, the accommodation has been made extremely comfortable and a lot of thought has been put into every detail.
