Beautiful location in the New Forest. Lots of scenic roads of course. The restaurant was exceptional. We invited friends for afternoon tea and it was delicious. We also dined in the restaurant - superb! Breakfasts were great.

Cottage Lodge was very comfortable and had excellent facilities. The breakfasts were excellent and the selections of breakfast meals were all enjoyable. The hotel was perfect for us as we could walk to the bike rental near the train station to pick up our bikes. As we did two days of biking, it worked out well. Having a designated car parking spot was nice as we always had a spot to park. From the hotel you can walk to the restaurants and pubs, no need to drive.

The staff were all very friendly, professional, and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and everything was great. The bed and comforter and pillows are super comfortable and it was the best night's sleep we got in over a week. The shower was great, the toiletries and towels were great. It was all wonderful. The location is convenient for walking to the Quay, shops, restaurants, etc. We drove to the Isle of Wight Ferry parking lot to take the ferry over for the day which was easy and convenient. We had stayed here before and will come back again.

Location, staff, nicely equipped room, good menu and excellent food, lots of outdoor seating and a top priority for us - South Lawn is so dog friendly. The doggie exercise paddock is a big bonus. We really enjoyed our stay.

    Within 30 mins of Milford on sea and mudeford this holiday home is a fabulous base for a weekend getaway. We had a supermarket and Chinese takeaway delivery whilst we were there. The beds were super comfy and there are indoor and outdoor eating areas. Loved every minute.

    The place was amazing, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The hot tub was ready when we arrived and we received a beautiful tray with chocolates and prosecco. We will definitely be returning. We may even bring the kids next time.
