Excellent location plenty of parking, very friendly and helpful staff had a long convo with Rachael was so nice and professional. It’s amazing place with a Pub next door for food and drinks. Very clean comfy bedrooms with fantastic Power shower. Highly recommend this place.
A former royal hunting estate of King Charles II, this magnificent hotel is on a 700 acre estate. Central Nottingham is just a 15 minute drive away, and the M1 highway (J26) is nearby. Nice and quiet lovely staff especially stephen he went out of his way to make us feel welcome a lovely young man
Forest Farm Papplewick Nottingham - Spacious Self-Contained Rural Retreat! is set in Papplewick and offers a terrace. Perfect quiet location. It was just what we were expected and much more. Hosts gave us very detailed instructions to spot the place, collecting keys etc. Close to Nottingham, which was important for us. Well equipped and decorated with style ,having integrated the atmosphere of the English countryside, which we enjoyed a lot. We are sorry for the late checkout!! and the inconvenience provoked to you
mour Hotel is a 4-star award-winning hotel located in the Sherwood Business Park, just a 10-minute drive from junction 27 of the M1 Motorway. We liked the location, there was plenty of parking, rooms were of a good size and well planned out. Sitting areas in the reception were comfortable and welcoming. Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Penllech House - Huku Kwetu (Notts) is located in Nottingham, 4.3 mi from National Ice Center and 5.6 mi from Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, in an area where hiking can be enjoyed. The location is great and all the little extras that made it feel like home away from home
The Station Hotel as you would expect is very close to the railway station, with a very regular service to Nottingham. An off-peak return costs only £3.50 on Sundays with trains running about every 30 minutes
You go to Hucknall when you have need of going there, it is not a tourist destination, neither is it "near" Nottingham for tourist purposes. You either have to drive or use taxis who in my case proved not to be reliable.
Just an overall bad experience. Not able to eat in the restaurant as they had a private party. Beds hard and horrible, no tea and coffee. Breakfast dried up and hard, no runny egg yolks on show at this hotel!! Luckily it was convenient to Mansfield where we had to be at 8.30am Sunday morning.
ate at The Grill next door...excellent food/service and great value for money.....loved Hucknall town centre...loved everything about my trip there....done some sightseeing....went to Sherwood Forest...all in all...a great trip and will certainly be back. We had a car but the tram is great if you dont want to take a car into town.
Well equipped town centre. Banks, supermarkets, cafes etc Great parks within a few minutes driving distance. Visited Sutton Lawns park too which I would highly recommend. Also Rufford Country Park, Sherwood Forest and White Post Farm all great. Had an excellent fish and chip meal at the Griffins head pub in Papplewick. Highly recommend that.
