Beautiful location! Property is on a farm a few miles outside of Inveraray (about a 10 minute drive). Stayed here to attend the Highland Games in Inveraray and it was perfect. Very well equipped!

We arrived late and there was a note waiting for us with directions on accessing our room, which was all we needed. We didn't see any staff until the next morning at breakfast. The farmhouse was on a spacious property oozing with charm. Breakfast was included and delicious. The porridge was a real treat! Get the maple syrup & compote! The absolute highlight was being greeted by Gio the gray cat! He showed us right to our room and even stayed for a visit! I am quite certain he would have stayed away if not welcomed, but I adored him so thought this was SO great! He greeted me outside the next morning as well and toured me around the home while I sipped my coffee. Could not have been a better start to the day! Stay told me he has been a resident longer than any of the current staff - so, I was thankful he was such a gracious host!

    Lovely little town. Loads of places to eat and drink. The jail is well worth a visit. The castle is worth a visit but it was very busy and therefore difficult to get the most out of it however it was a Sunday lunchtime so maybe not the best time to go.

    The views from Inverary are exceptional.

    The views from Inverary are exceptional. The residents of the town are very friendly If you want to unwind, slow down your pace of life, find real peace and relaxation then Inverary would be an excellent choice to visit. We ate an evening meal from the local fish and chip restuarant and sat looking down the loch enjoying it. Walking around Inverary is easy . It has wide pavements and the town is flat with no steep gradients.

    Inveraray Jail, was amazing to see what jail life was like n the 1600s Very first item we saw was a man who stole 2 horses, and a cheese he was hung for his crime, couldn't stop thinking about it all day.. Really need to see it for yourself to understand how bad life was back then. Inveraray Castle was beautiful and so interesting, had a lovely tea outside before looking round the gardens and walking through the grounds. Inveraray Bell Tower is fantastic too once you climb the 176 steps, you can see amazing views..

    A pleasant small town with a beautiful outlook over Loch Fyne. The consistent white facade of buildings added to the aesthetic appeal. The tour de force is the castle. This has a very interesting interior with weapons displays, everything is well kept. The gardens are lovely and the castle is on a beautiful site with the river Aray running through the grounds.

    Really enjoyed our stay in Inveraray .

    Really enjoyed our stay in Inveraray .It is a great place to walk around and the views are super .A nice historic wee town .Its very dog friendly too which was important for us .The Inveraray Inn hotel where we were staying is brilliant and the food was superb .We will definitely be back .

    Inveraray Is a beautifull place we were there to celebrate our 60th anniversary . It is full of lovely memories for us . The people in all the shops Are very pleasant We stayed at the George Hotel for our Honeymoon 60 years ago.

    The house is in a superb location on Loch Fyne with wonderful views, good parking and conveniently situated for Inveraray and Tarbert. The host is very accommodating, too, and nothing is too much trouble for her. Breakfast is wholesome and hearty and sets you up for the day. Maggie was very understanding when my journey was many hours behind schedule and did everything possible to reassure me I could get into my room with excellent communication updates. A pleasant stay indeed.
