The room was extremely comfortable , well presented ,with everything we needed. Lovely and warm on the coldest of nights. Nice bar and restaurant areas with a good dinner menu and an excellent breakfast . Great staff.

Accommodation was in a separate building which worked well as it was isolated from the pub so it was shielded from the entertainment on the Saturday night which went on until late but we were undisturbed. We ate in the restaurant in the evening after arrival and enjoyed a very nice meal and some good wine. Interesting range of options for breakfast. We opted for the full breakfast butty and beans on wholemeal toast (vegetarian option) which were both really good and excellent value. Good range of coffee and attentive staff. We were joined by friends for breakfast and stayed the morning at the pub for a really enjoyable start to the day. It was Garden Festival weekend so lots happening and you became aware of the real community spirit that exists in the village. We popped to Skipton early afternoon and had a late afternoon tea on the steam train at Embsay - another worthwhile venture!

We LOVED everything about Alma Cliffe (well, perhaps not the steps, LOL). Our host Tracey was fabulous in very way, and our room (and bathroom) were spacious, clean, and comfortable (with special personal touches and supplies for our every need). Breakfast was great, and the front garden, spectacular view, gorgeous nearby countryside, and short walk into this quaint town 'on our path' made this affordable lodging a clear favorite~

The bed was very comfortable! The breakfast was 10/10! The hotel is dog friendly your furry friends are welcomed with treats! There’s tea and coffee and a cattle in the room! You can enjoy delicious food for lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Staff are nice and attentive! Very nice beer garden and back garden with landscape view! At the old stone through you can really feel close to nature!

Lovely hotel with polite and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Had to wait a very short time to be seated for breakfast but this wasn't a problem. Breakfast was buffet style and was sufficient. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at a very reasonable price. Well done to all staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel and have no qualms in returning.

The hotel is in lovely surroundings and very easy to access. The room we were given was spacious and comfortable. As it was on the ground floor there were privacy blinds as well as curtains which was nice. There were fluffy bathrobes in the room another nice touch. Staff were all polite and friendly.

The cottage was peaceful,cozy and exceptionally decorated. I had no problems following Lisa’s instructions to enter the property and the price was fantastic in comparison to local hotels in the area. I had a relaxing stay as I used it as a base to go walking in nearby Malham.
