Tuesday Market Square is a delight to the eyes. Easy walk to all points of interest, including the South Gate and The Walks. It was a treat to see a lot of very old buildings still in good condition and inhabited today in a comfortable to navigate area. The high street is a little depressed, but you could really feel the history walking through the town. We would definitely visit again.
Kings lynn has beautiful old historic buildings and some great friendly restaurants especially along the waterfront/ boal quay well worth a visit during the summer festivals always something for everyone .
We enjoyed seeing the historic buildings spotted around the town, some very beautiful. However, some historic buildings eg Rose Hotel ,in the market place, is being converted to flats which is a real shame and surprised it is allowed by heritage controls! Easy to walk around Kings Lynn which is central for a lot of scenic routes to the Norfolk Broads and seasides and 15 minute drive to Sandringham., A good restaurant selection for every taste and some interesting non expensive antique shops. A lot of the usual London shops eg M&S, Debenhams, Next etc situated in the town or close by. There are two theatres in the town; one of which The Cirn Exchange, is in a beautiful historic building in the Market Place. There is an abundance of churches but even at Christmas a lot were closed down so you need to check which are functionsl before you go.
Hope to never stay here again. Be wary of the hidden charges, they will fine you for not registering your cars rwg at check in and I had to pay an extra £100 for leaving an empty cigarette pack on the table as they claimed I smoked in the room!
King's Lynn has some lovely old architecture, cobbled streets and a great town centre for shopping. We tried a small Nepalese/Indian restaurant called spice of Gurkha, was lovely meal and great service.

Excellent location for our needs , near to venue for which we came to Kings Lynn and quiet overnight location due to extensive grounds but still handy for all main routes nearby. Quick £6 taxi trip into the centre of town for sightseeing , restaurants , shops and bars in the eve and same back. Recently refurbed hotel which gave a much better . impression from previous stay there a few years ago . Breakfast and evening meal options reasonable and well priced also for a hotel.

Lovely location - used as a base for festival in kings lynn. 3 big meals made for 7 of us using oven and elec bbq plus 2 nights of tv and lights and only used about £1.50 elec, was hot though so wasn't using heaters. Cabin was nice and clean and best nights sleep I've had all year. It's quite a distance from home and lots of single lane A roads on journey means it can take an age to get there but will use again if we visit the area.

Liked this guest house which is owned and run well. It is comfortable and I slept well. Currently there is no breakfast facility here but there is a cafe nearby or if travelling by train I can recommend the Station Cafe at Kings Lynn Station. Just across the road there is one of the few remaining pubs in Kings Lynn, The London Porter House. Once settled in the locals are quite welcoming.
