Linwater Holiday Park offers accommodations in East Calder and is 12.5 miles from Edinburgh. Guests can enjoy the peaceful surroundings the park has to offer including play park and country walks. The three-bedroom en suite lodge is spacious, extremely clean and warm. the camp helped us to turn up the heat before our arrival which was very considerate. We enjoyed the sunshine here if it was not raining and my daughter spent a lot time at the playground outside. Food delivery is convenient. staff are very friendly and helpful. We met some problem at the very last day we stayed, the camp handled it very carefully and we do appreciate that. a 5-star caraven park!

Falconer Rise is located in Livingston. The accommodations is 12 mi from EDI, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. Excellent communication from host. Location as was visiting friends in the area and it was right around the corner. Good value for a family stay property was immaculate just a few small things let it down.
Great Staff, very helpful and professional. Superb location with terrific views. Very nice character hotel with excellent golf facilities. Very complex internally and a little confusing getting around the hotel, got lost several times, not easy in a wheelchair. The Brasserie was ok but the main restaurant was better.

Hope to return to explore this newly found rural retreat 'far from the maddening crowd ' of urban life.Love its wooded grassy meandering undulating roads between farmlands.Has nature in abundance.Caught sight of nocturnal deer and foxes, misty fog over river below and calvacade of tall pines during my night journey to property. This is indeed "sleepy hollow " with property built in period style of late 19th to early 20th Century.Within20-30 minutes during of Edinburgh.Quiet and peaceful
We were attending a wedding at Kirknewton Stables.....the hotel was a ten minute drive to the wedding venue. Kirknewton itself had one cash machine..it was in the post office... But if the post office was closed you couldn't withdraw money except for cashback up to £50 in local shop. A minor detail though
Breakfast was good but not outstanding. Go for the fresh omelette not the scrambled egg. Sports facilities are good but check with reception when the pool is timed for local classes and lessons as there is no swimming space. The Sports bar food was not worth the expense, I had sticky beef and pearl barley. 3 small pieces of beef was not good enough and many bars in Edinburgh offer better for less
the hotel is lovely lovely surroundings great staff can't do enough for you before we booked checked menu and drink prices a little bit pricey so that wasn't a problem so expecting a lovely meal but that didn't happen could of been a bad nite for the chef .
