Welcomed to use the lounge with balcony throughout our stay. Breakfast was unbelievable, we could not believe the variety. The portions were quite big , tasted amazing and of the best quality. The little touches on the tea tray and selection of fruit in the room was lovely too. 100% by far the best b&b I’ve stayed and I highly recommend. I would book again next time I visit Arran. Namaste 🙏🏼

During these trying times when everyone is still figuring things out. We enjoyed our visit to the village of Lamlash Arran, we ate out for every meal. Observed the socially distant thing and every shop/ restaurant you go into has hand sanitiser and you are required to wear your mask while wandering around, not outside or at your table. We felt pretty safe, enjoyed Arran Ice creams and cheeses, and their hospitality. Would highly recommend the food at the Pierhead Tavern pub food done very well. The old Pier Tea-room also has very good coffee and amazing scones. The bus service was great as we did not take a car, and the drivers are very friendly and helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our mini break away from the city. All within walking distance in the village a smaller Co-op also available, a short bus journey to Brodick where there was a large Co-op.
A small town on the east coast of Arran. Lamlash can boast of the lovely views of Holy Island. From Lamlash, it is easy to visit other areas of the island - we covered most of the sites including the Machrie Moor Standing Stones, Kings Cave, Lochranza, Brodick Castle Gardens and also visited the two distilleries. Unfortunately, Covid restrictions did limit opportunities to try many of the eateries but we didn't go hungry!
Lamlash is a beautiful place the beach is lovely and the views out over the sea are amazing. The Octopus centre is great for a visit if you want to see what is going on beneath the waves! It is well connected to a reliable bus service if you want to get out and about and if you arrive in Brodick by Ferry the bus journey from there is only ten minutes. There is a handy local CO-OP if you want to stock up on provisions and I had a nice lunch one day at the Drift Inn.
Lamlash is simply stunning will definitely be back for longer break next time didn't realise how big place is we drove for hours round this place amazing ! We also got pleasure of seeing the seals 7 in total what a place !
The location was excellent and close to all places of interest. The hotel as a brilliant restaurant with a varied menu and is fairly priced so no need to look elsewhere. Will definitely recommend to family and friends and will stay again in the future.
Lamlash is brilliant - wonderful view of Holy Isle and an interesting and friendly local community. This was our third visit, and we still had local walks to explore. A really great base for walking and close enough to Brodick to feel connected while being peaceful.
