ideal for a nice break, plenty of pubs and restauraunts, some good shops as well, on the main street there is a food place called Curry King they do some great food, their Kebabs are brilliant, also various fish and chip shops, which do lovely food, also a number of chinese takeaways and indian restaurants, great for a day out or staying for a long weekend or longer.
Lovely place to visit and the bed and breakfast the old rectory was amazing place to stay and so relaxing me and my husband were there to stay for 3 nights it was great so we had to stay one more night can’t wait to book again
We enjoyed visiting Largs and especially fun when the Viking festival (September) was on as a great atmosphere and plenty to see and do. Plenty of areas to walk along the pleasant seafront, enjoy local restaurants and cafès. Largs is a good location to access Glasgow or further along the West coast. Why not hop on the ferry with the car to Arran for the day which we did and had a great day out?
Fabulous place to stay . Fabulous views all around . Many eateries n pubs , places of interest including a short trip over to Millport . Plenty of other places close by to visit .Some pictures are of Millport and the ferry trip over . Last pictures are of the hotel and Largs promenade. Largs is a wee hidden jewel .
Would not recommend this B&B,shower was so filthy we could not use it.beach was lovely, fish n chips on the front gorgeous, only problem no tea,had to walk further and carry it back to table.probably 50-50,good and bad.
Decor is a bit old and tired, but this little hotel is friendly and popular. Most of those staying appeared to be retirees when I was there. Breakfast is taken in the restaurant with a menu of fruit, cereals, cooked options and toast that will set you up for the day. Breakfast staff were excellent. My room had both a double and single bed and was a good size. Bathroom included shower over the bath. Good heating and plenty of hot water. Parking available off-street.
Largs
We stayed overnight and could not have felt more welcome! The rooms were incredibly nice and clean, we really appreciated the small details to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was amazing (!!) and Keith catered a beautiful vegan meal for one of us. He was so friendly, attentive and shared many fun anecdotes with us. We were also given advice for where to eat and what to do in and around Largs. Would love to visit again and will definitely recommend to friends!
Largs
It was lovely and clean and had easy to work items in the kitchen and it was good to have use of the washer dryer. Scotts playground is just around the corner and the children loved that there was a park so close. We parked up on the street for our whole stay and could walk everywhere as it is nice and central to Largs main tourist area. The Vikingar Centre is excellent with great swimming facilities. The Viking Experience they run is excellent too.
Largs
Only 5 minutes walking to the beach, and Largs such a great location, the flat was nice and neat. Quiet Area, slept well, the room has blackout curtains which was a huge bonus. The host Dawn is such an amazing host, I loved meeting her and getting to know her. We definitely recommend this place. Ps...thanks for the goodies, my friend loved the milk and biscuits 😆 xx
Largs
Very spacious flat, very modern and comfortable. Was also very well situated, just a five minute walk from the center. Would recommand when staying in Largs or as a stop-over before Arran ! Very good price for the quality of the accommodation. I was also able to check-in before 3pm and Jason (the host) even picked me up in the center
The room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent with a good choice very efficiently served. The location is good, a ten minute walk from Largs Yacht club and marina. Considering the high standard offered by the hotel the price is very good value.
This is a very friendly hotel, from the minute you arrive till you leave the staff are very attentive. Very good breakfast and a good choice of evening meals which I can highly recommend. They also do a High Tea.
Largs
Apartment was spotlessly clean and freshly decorated with quality finishes. There was a fresh loaf, milk, tea and coffee for us when we arrived. Great view, quiet area and a great hub for our weekend ☺️
The location was perfect, not too close to the main area of largs and certainly not too far away. The house was a perfect size for us for the week and gave us exactly what we needed.
The location was excellent for largs itself and also to travel around the West Coast. The flat was spacious and great for us travelling with our family and very well stocked.
Hotel and restaurant were great, function suite and staff lovely. Rooms clean and bed comfortable.
