My first visit and only stayed a couple of days so just time to visit Jephson park, and shopping area. Which were both lovely and grand. Learned about the history of the town the museum and Pump Rooms. I would say a very friendly town.

A lovely town though getting worse as all UK towns are.
A lovely town though getting worse as all UK towns are. Quite a few addicts, drunks and homeless people on the streets. Many shops closed but it's a pleasant walk around, lots of independent shops still open. There are dozens of coffee shops and restaurants.
The park is a gem. Quite beautiful. The art gallery is good and has a wonderful café.

We were visiting Leamington Spa for a family Christening, so we had limited time to explore the town. We had a meal out on our first and only evening and then spent the following morning wandering around the town. An interesting historical town, with lots of green spaces.

We visited the British motor museum whilst there and it was nice to walk around and see all the old vehicles and styles of road etc. We also went into Stratford-upon-Avon and had a walk around there which was lovely but busy. And we went to the butterfly house there which has more than just butterflies so was definitely worth the money! We also saw shakespeares birthplace which was interesting!

Typical English town with a lot of Regency architecture.
Typical English town with a lot of Regency architecture. There is a lit to see. Next to the many nice small and exciting shops, great parks like Jephson Gardens for a stroll, there are a bunch of good restaurants for having breakfast like Royals and in the evening for heaving a great steak at Bar + Block. For the not so much fans of meat, there are some good vegan restaurants.
If you want to visit Birmingham, the train connections are excellent!
Fantastic breakfast, fresh and super delicious. Room was as always very clean such that even with covid restrictions where room would not be cleaned daily, my 3 days stay still had me leaving a very clean and comfy room thanks to a very high housekeeping standard. Location is my £1 with Th Angel Hotel as its a relatively easy ride from Heathrow, and hotel is located literally walking distance from food, shopping, chillout joints and the park. Perfect for short rest and relax getaways.
We were at a wedding at Warwick house, so stayed at Angel Hotel, we checked in late due to wedding starting at 12.30 the young girl at reception was very kind and helpful, when we came down next morning to check out, she was there again, I commented how fresh she looked thinking she had been there all night.! She had been home, but back again to do morning shift. All the staff were lovley, serving at breakfast could not do enough. Room was nice and so clean.
Very cosy, comfortable (and warm!) place to stay, right near the heart of Leamington Spa. Very close to shops, lots of great places to eat and only a short walk to the gardens, river and the station. Mark and Heather have thought of everything to make this a lovely little home away from home. This was my 2nd stay at Regent’s Retreat and I hope zi get the chance to come back
This is our second visit and it did not disappoint. Customer service is the heart of the hotel, and nothing is too much trouble..fire wood needed to stoke up a bigger fire? no problem.. non resident guests joining for breakfast? no problem..prosecco served poolside? uh no problem. And service is always with a smile. A true Leamington Spa Gem.
Great location on the outskirts of Royal Leamington Spa,( 7 mins drive to the centre) although a conference centre type hotel, it was clean and comfortable all over the hotel, breakfast was in the main dining room, staff where helpful and chatty and a good selection of continental breakfast as well as full english and veggie alternative.
Very convenient location for the centre of Leamington Spa and easy parking. Decent size room with extra seating which is always a bonus and very comfy bed. The hotel was a little tired looking but still an excellent overnight stop. Good choice at breakfast with freshly cooked good quality produce
Comfortable bed, good bar service and a great location, just 15 minutes walk into the centre. There was also plenty of free parking, and we were also allowed to park up to 2pm on the day we checked out, which gave us a bit more time to explore Leamington Spa. A decent enough hotel for the price.
The best location in Leamington spa, sitting right on the water, and across the street from the park with the old pump house Museum visible from your window. Lovely! The staff were friendly and responsive and the building, which has recently been upgraded, is marvelous.
This place is small and cosy, it has its own bathroom and kitchen which is a bonus. Very cheap considering a local hotel was significantly more expensive.
Lovely attentive host. Tv can be moved so you can watch in bed which was a nice bonus!
Everything - Excellent hosts, incredible location in a lovely town well worth a visit. You will be steps away from everything you need in Leamington Spa. Having a kitchen and laundry on site is an added bonus.
Lovely home with charming architectural features, excellent quiet location yet convenient by foot to all that Leamington Spa has to offer. Loved the kitchen and dining areas -- the Aga made the home so cozy!
A beautiful country house . Rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. The dinning room was wonderful and the food delicious. A great place to stay on our road trip. Very close to Warwick Castle
Good breakfast and staff very friendly and helpful. Good clean room and bed very comfortable. Location was ideal for us even thou closer hotels were available to stay at for our visit to RLS.
A very well sorted little hotel. Good position for an easy stroll into town for food and drink if so wanted. Breakfast was very well organised and nicely done. Staff were kind and attentive.
