Located 3 miles from Liskeard, the Tregondale Manor Farm offers a a tennis court, free WiFi access, and on-site parking. It was a stunning boutique farm house. Mr and Mrs Rowe had obviously taken much time, love and effort to transform their home into something rather unique. It was easy to locate. Beautiful views, immaculate farm yard, barns. Beautifully presented breakfast, comfortable bed and modern amenities. A true gem in a haystack! Thank you...for your hospitality, warmth and generosity. All the best.

Located in Liskeard in the Cornwall region, The Corn Store, Liskeard has a garden. The accommodations is 25 mi from St Austell. It's a beautiful little cottage that is well presented and the host have thought of everything.
The town itself is quite a depressed area and so not particularly touristy, but it is easy travelling distance from some amazing countryside and this makes a good stopover to/from places further west.
Other than being a town fairly close to where we were staying which enabled us to buy a few provisions & access fish & chips etc without going too far, Liskeard itself wasn't somewhere we spent any time at, however that area of Cornwall has a very high number of wonderful places to visit, so from that aspect, it was a great location. List with some of the many places relatively close: Golitha Falls, Looe & Polperro, Looe Valley [train] Line, Carnglaze Caverns, Looe valley vineyard wine tasting, Polruan with great views over Lantic Bay & Fowey, Cardinham Woods, The Hidden garden (nursery), The Duchy Of Cornwall Nursery (& cafe), (NT) Lanhydrock & Respryn bridge, (NT) Anthony House near Plymouth, (NT) Cotehele, Zip wire at the adrenaline quarry, TreGarris Valley ruins, Lerryn village & Tivoli Park hidden in the woods above the Village, Mevagissey, The Lost Gardens Heligan, various cycle rides such as along The Camel Estuary.
Didn't like anything about liskeard it was dirty and unfriendly. Our puppy was attacked by a dog as we were walking round the few shops there. It hadn't been tied up just left outside shop.No apologie!!!
Liskard is a quiet little town , its very hilly dont go if you have trouble walking if you dont have a disabilty scooter, the Fat Frog cafe was great we went every day for breakfast. And were on 1st name terms by the end of the week.
Liskeard town was ok had the shops you need but only used as a stop off if we needed anything. Needs more pubs on the rural outskirts and good places to eat. Good news for us the Wheal Tor was our retreat and we found ourselves very lucky
Lisekard a tired town with a terrible wetherspoons full of gangs of youth doing there best to spread whatever ailments they may have to all and sundry, staff are rude and favor the locals. The town is shabby that's being kind. But it is a handy spot to travel to the nice parts of cornwall from. Think it's gone down hill a bit my memories certainly thought it was nicer a couple of years ago than now. Shops are run down, too.

Excellent location, in the heart of Cornwall and set in the peaceful surroundings of a working farm. Had a lovely warm welcome from Stephanie and Mervyn and the rest of the family. The farmhouse is a real treasure and the hosts are super friendly. My room was a lot larger than I expected and very, very comfortable, with a large bed, plenty of pillows, large flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi and toilettes and luxurious towels too. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and nothing was too much trouble for Stephanie.

Sportsmans Valley Hotel went above and beyond during our stay. We even celebrated my partner’s birthday on their pub and they are very helpful and attended our requests promptly. Compliments to the chef because their food is so amazingly delicious that we even came back after checking out that day because we would like to try more. Shoutout to all the lovely people we met in Sportsmans Valley Hotel! Will definitely come back!

Cottage was quaint, clean and had everything you required. Attention to detail by the hosts brilliant. Literally in the middle of no where - where you can truly relax and enjoy the countryside. Games room available with pool table & table tennis great for entertainment in the evening - distracting the kids away from devices. Loved the Forrest area to walk the dog and enjoy fire pit one evening.
Good nights sleep Friendly staff/owners Nice breakfast - full english, choice of cereals, etc Good price - facilities were fine for us Good location - Weatherspoons pub is just a 5 minute walk from here, and would be a great location to hike around the countryside from (we only stayed the one night)

This is a lovely hotel set in rural Cornwall with views of the countryside all around. Due to the current situation we couldn’t enjoy all the hotel had to offer but suited our business trip very well. Breakfast was simple but enjoyed by all.

We loved everything about the property, including location, the cleanliness, how welcome we felt, there knowledge of the Cornwall, and the hosts couldn’t of been more accommodating. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
