Pleasant unexpected overnight stay arranged at the last minute due to vehicle problems. Welcoming and friendly staff who even though I arrived quite late showed me to my room and couldn't be more friendly. The morning dawned to reveal a lovely view over the fields and my breakfast was a delight, freshly prepared and well balanced. I wish I had been staying more than one night.
Went to stay there as we were going to a party in Stamford and all hotels were full there and saw this one was not disappointed a ten minutes taxi. Ride away from Stamford comfy bed and excellent breakfast
Lovely rural location, quiet. Friendly staff. Clean accommodation but the beds were rather uncomfortable - mattresses weren't very supportive. There is no local shop, the only place within the village to go in the eventing is the Willoughby Arms but it was lively early evening
We were made to feel so welcome and it was so comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable so we had a good nights sleep. So peaceful and quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A beautiful wild garden to sit and have a drink with lovely views. Good beers and gins at a friendly bar. Evening menu was varied with plenty of choice beautifully cooked. Breakfast was perfect with plenty to choose from. Scenery around us was beautiful. The history of the pub and around was so interesting. We will definitely return at some time.
Great rural location with very good bar food and real ales all at sensible prices. Excellent breakfast and comfortable accommodation. A short car journey from Stamford with its numerous attractive Georgian buildings, good shops and restaurants and easy relaxed atmosphere.
Enjoyed our stay at the Williughby Inn, Little Bytham as we were visiting Burghley game and country fair which was only 20 minutes away by car, A relaxing place with a good hearty meal to return too.
