Located in the center of Llangefni on the Isle of Anglesey, The Bull Hotel is located a 15-minute drive from Bangor and offers rooms with free Internet access and on-site private parking free of... All the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good
This countryside hotel has a swimming pool and award-winning restaurant, and is a short drive inland from the breathtaking east coast of the island. The room was lovely and clean and spacious with a terrace leading from our room, the bed was huge and very comfortable, the bathroom was faultless with a great shower; We only had breakfast which was delicious and piping hot. The staff are all lovely and very friendly. I would stay again without a doubt.
Tafarn y Rhos is a B&B with great views of Snowdonia's mountains, and a pub serving food made from local ingredients. Llangefni is 1 mile away. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Room clean, with everything we needed and more! Breakfast superb. Would definitely stay again. Thank you.
Tŷ Clûd is set in Llangefni and offers a garden. The accommodations features free WiFi. The holiday home consists of 3 separate bedrooms, and a bathroom with a shower. The property was situated in such a convenient location with everything you needed nearby, warm, welcoming and comfortable and great communication with the property host
Bear in mind, we only stayed one night as were visiting for a Supercar Experience Day at the beautiful Anglesey racetrack nearby! But, yes, we wished we could have stayed longer, as Llangefni is a lovely village, with a good few choices for places to eat, and fantastic walks, which we really feel we missed out on. It seemed a lovely, laid back village, with Asda and a number of bigger shops 2 minutes down the road, but out of sight of the village itself, so not spoiling this lovely Welsh town. I think Llangefni now offers one of the only opportunities nationwide to be able to go into pretty much any of the major banks, there is HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds amidst others - all with a proper branch!! I would say, if you are looking for hip and happening, you may be disappointed! But, for a proper Welsh retreat, and plenty of opportunities to practice Welsh (if like me, you are doing Duolingo), I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
We left a day early, room was poor, in the bull hotel, toilet wobbles, toilet seat loose, shower curtain mouldy 4 sachet of coffee for 4 days Same towels nothing freshened up Greasy foot prints ground into carpet Food was bland and onion rings came out frozen and had to go back to get cooked again Breakfast was massively over priced for amount you got And bacon was almost raw, wife couldn't eat hers Ended up using Cafe up road Not enough parking for everyone Hope you're back first
Nice little town consisting of shops and takeaways. There's an Asda if you need a big shop. Within easy driving distance of all the main attractions that Anglesey has to offer. The natives are very welcoming ...
As a town there isn’t much there but if you look around there are some lovely nature reserves and walks. It’s in easy driving distance of almost anywhere on the island so a great place for exploring. Lots of Ancient historic landmarks to hunt out on the island too!
I've visited Llangefni around 20 times now, stopped in this Tafern Y Rhos twice now as it was where we had our Honeymoon. We were well looked after and the food was great, we had a warm welcome considering the present situation with Covid-19, and the staff at all time wore protective headgear. The building and a occomadation was 5***** across the board and its worth its money.
We didn't visit Llangefni town, the hotel outside was brilliant except that we would have preferred brighter lighting in our room and the bar area. The hotel staff were delightful and so helpful. The food we ate in the hotel was very pleasant but we think would have benefited from a wider choice.
The hotel is in beautiful landscaped grounds ten minutes drive from the beautiful Anglesey coastal path. The room was comfortable and the staff were exceptionally friendly. The spa area was very clean and relaxing. Food in the grill restaurant was good and the service excellent.
Staff were very welcoming and very helpful in explaining good places to visit as we had never been to Anglesey before. Lovely location, easy to find. Lovely rooms, beds are really really comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Lovely views also from our room.
What a great find ! Lovely spacious clean house in great location, central to visit everything on Anglesey. Lovely welcome pack. Nia the owner messaged to see if everything OK. Our little dog Millie loved exploring the garden. Will definitely return. Lynn
We visited with our two children. The house is an ideal size for 4 -5 people., and most importantly has two toilets and showers. Warm, comfortable and ideally positioned to see the best of North Wales and Anglesey
A lovely old building in the centre of Llangefni, a great base to explore Anglesey. The room was clean, and the pub is a nice place to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we would definitely return.
The location of the property was ideal for exploring Anglesey. The house was large and spacious with a private drive and well kept garden. Host was quick to reply and access to the key was easy.
