Beautiful setting. Balcony overlooking lake was great. Moonrise over lake was gorgeous. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Several good pubs and restaurants in Bala and easy access to grocery store. And Beatrice was exceptionally helpful and pleasant to interact with.

The pod was small and basic, but clean. Views (when they were visible :) ) were great and the starry sky at night looked fab. The showers/loos were also clean and well maintained (the shower gets a special mention for being well above the average campsite one). Dolgellau is just a relatively short walk away and has a good selection of food options.

Every single thing was perfect. Every amenity you’ll ever need. So so so peaceful location wise and it was everything we dreamed of for a small getaway for my 30th birthday. Karen is such a great host and the stay was just phenomenal.

The apartment is situated close to the lake and to the town amenities. The decor and cleanliness is to a high standard throughout. It smells lovely as you walk in. All the cushions are so comfortable. We used the sofa bed and this was easy to put out and was also comfy providing a good night's sleep. Everything you need is accessible. The housekeeping lady was super friendly and when an alarm was going off upstairs around 6am, she came within 3 minutes of me contacting her.We only stayed for one night but I wished it was longer.
