We had a great stay at the Albannach. The host is very hospitable and helpful. The suite was fantastic, comfortable, and very spacious. What stands out is the lovely home-cooked breakfast we were served every morning. Absolutely brilliant. We were sorry to leave after 2 nights as there are so many things to explore in the area as well.

Jo & Trevor were wonderful hosts. Made sure I was taken care every step of the way! The breakfast was absolutely delicious, the bedroom sparkling and the bed was SO large and comfy. They had loads of books to read through. I even got a chance to see the northern lights from their porch! I only wish I got to stay longer but I hope to be back soon! Worth every last pound for this place!

This place is adorable. So cozy with just the amount of space and amenities we needed. Great location just minutes from town with a lovely view of the Loch from the hot tub. Really appreciated being able to do a load of laundry in the shed behind the cabin. Dinner at Delilah's nearby was the best meal of our trip around the NC500 thus far.

The location is ideal. It's secluded enough to give you a real feeling of peace and quite but at the same time is only a ten minute drive from Lochinver where the shops, cafes and restaurants are. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the breakfast was excellent and the hosts were extremely pleasant and helpful. Even the highland cows are friendly when you sit outside for a coffee! It's well worth having a wander around the small peninsula where the B&B is situated, we found a lovely peaceful little cove where you can sit and read a book listening to the waves lap up onto the shore - pure bliss!

Lovely, peaceful cottage on the Drumbeg Loop - a reprieve from the sometimes terrifying drive. Only had one night but was so cozy I wish I could have stayed longer.

    Great place to explore the beautiful coastline ,and many mountains if you enjoy hill walking .Lochinver has changed for the better over the last few years , it now has a choice of coffee shops and some nice restaurants but still retains its village appearance.

    Good access to some great beaches and hiking opportunities. Achmelvich and Stac Pollaidh within easy reach. A good range of shops and other facilities on Lochinver's main street. Lochinver Larder well worth a visit!

    The fabulous views from our room was a bonus.

    The fabulous views from our room was a bonus. Big bathroom, lovely shower, comfy bed, and nice soft big towels. Minus side was my Tesco Mobile didn’t seem to be able get WIFI. Whereas my husband’s phone and our iPad were connected to internet. Delilah’s a great place for food. Couldn’t buy a newspaper anywhere in Lochinver.

    The pod overlooks the loch & small village of Lochinver. It is a good size , with a fantastic view , lovely underfloor heating & a wood burner effect electric fire to top up we needed it whilst we where there. The shower was great & the bed comfortable with nice quality bedding & towels. There is a spar shop & community fuel station ( be aware it holds £100 ,the actual fuel was not particularly over priced .) think weekdays may be manned? Couple of restaurants which are adequate we ate at Delilah’s, we had to wait a good half hour for a table but where concerned we’d need to do so elsewhere. In the summer it may be more of an issue, but more than adequate facilities to cook in. In all a stunning spot .

    A really beautiful part of Scotland especially in Autumn. Only a small place, as so many are, but perfect for walking/hiking or just enjoying the scenery. The ideal pit stop on the NC500. Some lovely places to eat too. Can recommend Delilah’s…great, locally sourced fresh produce.

    2 days spent Here... And it grows on you. The loop walk is fine but not sign posted well. Guessing most of the time once away from river. People are welcoming and friendly. Delilas for food.. A must. Driftwood cafe and lochinver larder... Both fab too. Take a trip to the nearby beach too... Gorgeous..

    Excellent location. Lovely property with super on suite bedroom. The guest lounge was just like a home from home. Breakfast was excellent the best I had tasted all holiday. David and Irene are super hosts and two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Going to Lochinver?? then stay here.

    The views were fantastic across to Lochinver. Beds were the most comfortable we slept in and rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast selection was huge and would put many a hotel buffet to shame! John was a great host too and local taxi service was great.
