We did a stopover on way to north Scotland.
We did a stopover on way to north Scotland. Beautiful quaint town. Stayed at the peaceful Mansefield and did a 2 min walk into town centre. Had delicious diner at Just Be. Visited the Garden of Remembrance, which was very sobering and just a reminder of how this beautiful peaceful town was rocked by an awful tragedy that echoed the worst of humanity. A town that will always be remembered for the Pan Am bomb, but that actually is so much more than that. Easy links by train. As I was only there for work, it would be difficult to comment too much on the town itself as I didn't get a chance to see too much of it, although the areas I did see were lovely. I arrived late afternoon and went for a run.
I arrived late afternoon and went for a run. Didn't have a lot of time to explore. Will be back. The people I met were friendly and kind. This day we saved a dog 🐕 from being run down.
