The Goodenough College and Mecklenburgh garden square are beautiful & the food in college excellent - well worth a visit. I had a wonderful day at Tate Britain - worth visiting for the Jacob Epstein bronzes alone. I gave a lecture at Guy's Hospital - the old part is very beautiful with a sculpture of John Keats, the well-known poet who trained in medicine at Guy's. Wonderful for theatres and concert halls.The black cab drivers are excellent and give you knowledge of London tourist sites a guided tour for just the journey that you need to go on i.e route to the theatre. London is always a great place to visit.
London is always a great place to visit. It’s also much less congested than in the past and less polluted so the annoying congestion charge and ULEZ system must be working. Underground on the whole is so efficient. Like most major cities there always seems to be something unexpected but interesting going on.
